ZSS Skincare Review

ZSS Skincare is nutrition focused skincare that is packed with Zeaxanthin. Zeaxanthin is derived from paprika peppers and has been clinically tested to promote clear radiant skin and fight deep lines and wrinkles from the inside out. The ZSS Skincare system comes in two different methods; Method No. 1 Radiant Skin and Method No. 2 Clear Skin. I was sent Method No.2 for review. Each skin system contains a 30 day supply of both the serum and nutrients. The products are all natural and free of harsh chemicals like paraben sulfates, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, and dyes.

 

 

 

You get a total of 30 individually packaged daily supplements. The package includes 2 soft gels, 1 capsule and 1 probiotic capsule. The key ingredients in these supplements are zeaxanthin, fish oil, N-Acetyl (an antioxidant) and borage seed oil. You also receive a 0.5 fluid oz. bottle of the serum. The serum is designed to be used morning and night after cleansing.

 

First of all I love that the supplements are conveniently packaged for daily use. It makes it easier to remember to take them on a daily basis. The serum is very lightweight and goes on smoothly. The bottle may seem little but only a small amount is needed for application.  I love that the serum does not have a greasy feeling, rather it absorbs into the skin very quickly.

 

I used my skin system for the total 30 days and found that not only was it an easy skin regimen to follow but I did not have any skin issues the entire time. I am proud to say that at 37 my skin is not showing any signs of lines or wrinkles yet, so I can't really comment on whether these products work for that or not, but I have read some promising reviews all over the web. E! News even featured them as being a favorite among celebrities. The price of the system is a little spendy at $160. When you do the math it is somewhere around $5.00 a day. I guess if you think of it that way it doesn't sound so bad. You can skip your daily smoothie, cappuccino or deli sandwich and treat yourself to better skin instead!

Burger Lounge Restaurant Review and Giveaway

My sister who lives in San Diego is always raving about Burger Lounge. Known for their grass-fed burgers, local produce and healthy ingredients, she claims they make the best burger. So when I received an email letting me know that Burger Lounge was opening up in my neighborhood, Temecula. I was pretty excited to see what all the fuss was about. I was also pretty lucky because the generous people at Burger Lounge invited me to have lunch, on them, in hopes that I would share with all of you. My husband and I decided to take them up on the offer and we headed out to feast on some grass fed burgers around 1pm on a Sunday. This is what we found...

 
Now bear in mind, Burger Lounge had only been opened a week when we visited. The line as you can see was out the door and the inside dining room as well as the outside patio where jam packed. By the conversations I heard while standing in line, everyone else there was also pretty eager to see what all the hype was about.

Burger Lounge is based in California. They have several locations in San Diego and several more in Los Angeles. This Temecula location is a first for the Inland Empire. I also noticed on their website that they have more restaurants in the works. I imagine that they will soon branch out into other states.

Burger Lounge is a casual eatery. You walk up to a counter and place your order, you are given a number to take back to your table, and your food is brought to you buy one of their staff. The menu is simple, it consists of handcrafted burgers in your choice of beef, buffalo, turkey, organic quinoa or seared albacore. Each burger has it's own condiments that have been carefully chosen to make a tasty burger and you can add nitrate-free bacon to any burger if you so chose. Yes please! They also have Chicken "Digglers", which I assume are chicken strips as well as a few different salads and fries and onion rings. Their beverage choices include batch craft sodas, organic brewed iced tea a selection of craft beer on tap and their signature house made Lavender Mint Lemonade. Oh and if you are feeling up to it you can try one of their shakes or a batch craft soda root beer float!

My husband ordered the Lounge Burger with bacon and organic cheddar. Toppings were lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and house made 1000 island. The thin, but juicy and perfectly seared with a touch of pink burger was sandwiched in between two delicious buns.

I ordered the "Classic" with bacon and organic American cheese. Toppings were organic ketchup, Mustard, and chopped fresh onion. It also comes with pickles but I left mine out.  We ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 to share, perfectly seasoned and crisp fries and onion rings. A sampling of their  house made sauces were brought to our table for dipping; ranch, barbecue, ketchup and 1000 island.

The burgers were delicious, we were utterly impressed. They tasted fresh and were full of flavor. In my opinion this is one of the better burgers in Temecula. The house made sauces were amazing. My husband said it was the best barbecue sauce he has ever had and I enjoyed the ranch very much. The house made  Lavender Mint Lemonade was a perfect way to quench my thirst on a warm Temecula day. Now I get it! Why my sister has been singing their praises and why the line to eat here was continuously out the door. Our lunch was absolutely delicious. Thank you Burger Lounge!

Another great thing about Burger Lounge is the service. It was top notch. From the girl behind the counter that took our order to the guy that brought us our food to the hard workers we saw walking the dining room making sure all the customers needs were being met and their drink glasses were not going empty. We also had the opportunity to briefly speak with area director Jason, when he wasn't busily helping customers, and I asked him if there was one thing that he wanted me to let all of you know about Burger Lounge. His response besides the yummy natural food made with sustainable and organic ingredients was this. Yes Burger Lounge is a casual eatery with quick fast food service but we want our customers to feel comfortable. We want them to sit and enjoy their meal and never feel like they need to get up from the table. The Burger Lounge staff is there to make sure every customers experience is a great one. Guess what? It was!
