Loreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Review

Loreal has a new beauty collection called Magic that is designed to give everyday women professional makeup artist results. This new collection includes four easy to use products that will help you create that flawless look. Included in the collection are Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream, Magic Lumi Highlighter, Magic Smooth Souffle Blush, and Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer.
SheSpeaks and Loreal allowed me the opportunity to try one of the products in this line.

Magic Skin Beautifuer BB Cream- Meet the Magic all-in-one skin BB cream, with Beautifying Beads; encapsulated pigments infused in an ultra-light lotion with antioxidants Vitamins C&E. This mullti-tasking skin beautifier delivers 4 beautifying actions in 1: hydrates, corrects, evens and perfects. Instantly transforms to your perfect shade for a flawless, bare skin finish. Over time, more beautiful skin.

This cream comes in four different shades to match your skin tone. When you first squeeze the cream onto your finger or makeup sponge it looks colorless but upon application it transforms into a shade that matches your coloring. It blends in very well and leaves a kind of sheer light coverage that evens out your complexion and hides away imperfections. I love this stuff! I have been using it as a primer underneath my foundation and I love the smooth flawless look it gives me. You can purchase Loreal's Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in a store near you for a retail price of around $10.95.

SeabuckWonders Review and Giveaway

Winner #15 mandala

SeabuckWonders Offers Full Line of Sea Buckthorn Natural Supplements and Personal Care Products – USDA-certified Organic, Cruelty-free, Non-GMO, Gluten-free, Kosher-certified and Paraben-free.

Their new skincare line contains a high concentration of what has been called "the miracle berry", Sea Buckthorn. These berries are hand picked in he Himalayas and contain a high concentration of antioxidants, vitamins, essential fatty acids and the entire Omega family. You can read more about the benefits of Sea Buckthorn here.

A couple of weeks ago I was sent two products in their skincare line as well as a bottle of Omega 7 Complete supplement.

As you well know my job here at Girly Girl is to review products and share what I learn with all of you. I have tried several skincare products as of late, I guess you could say I am your very own guinea pig. I really do test out everything I receive and I love that I can help inform all of you about products that you may be interested in trying but not sure if you should spend your money on. Occasionally when I try out a product and write up my review I will pass the product along to a friend or family member I think would benefit from it. Sometimes though I find a product that I don't want to give up. SeaBuckthorn Exfoliating Facial Cleanser and SeaBuckthorn Facial Cream are two of those products.

I have been using these products for the last two weeks and I love them. The cleanser has a wonderful citrus-y smell and I love the small exfoliating beads that help soften my skin. The facial cream is also not overly greasy and I love how easy it is to apply. Both of these products have been really gentle on my skin and I really do notice a difference in the texture of my skin and the look of my complexion since I started using them. It's only been two weeks!

I have also been taking the Omega 7 Complete softgels daily.

Among essential fatty acids you find Omega 7, 9, 6 and 3. It supplies vitamins, and the contents of vitamins C, E, B1, B6 and β-carotene are high. Combination ratio among the more than 190 bioactive elements coincides with what our body needs. This oil blend provides a very wide spectrum of support for good health.

One thing I have noticed since I started taking these is that I have more energy. I don't know if this is simply coincidence or what but I could use all the energy I can get. I have heard so many great things about these supplements and what it can do for not only your outside beauty but your overall health that I will continue to take these. I also plan to purchase some for my mom, why not share the health!

February is heart health month and all month long SeabuckWonders has been running a promotion on their supplements. There is still time to take advantage of the 50%  off discount using coupon code HEART50.

Guess what? I am going to be sharing the health and wealth with one of you as well. That's right SeabuckWonders is allowing me to give one Girly Girl reader the chance to win a SeaBuckthorn Exfoliating Facial Cleanser and a Omega 7 Complete Softgels.

My Skincare Review

My is a new line of anti-aging skincare products designed to repair, replenish, and revitalize skin. The main ingredients in My skincare products are derived from the Pili and Moringa trees of the Philippines. Considered the "tree of life" by locals, the oil and fruit of the Pili tree is known for its high concentrations of omega fatty acids and Vitamins A, and E. The oil of the Moringa tree is extracted from the seeds and also contains high concentrations of omega fatty acids and Vitamins A, C, and E. Pili oil is said to encourage cell renewal and improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles while Moringa oil replenishes, hydrates, and is a natural skin brightener that helps even skin tone.

My recently debuted their anti-aging skin line, My Prime and I was given the opportunity to review the five products available.

Skin Recovery Formula — A skin brightening treatment that targets the visible effects of skin damage, promotes skin firmness and reduces the appearance of imperfections.

Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer — A highly hydrating yet lightweight moisturizer that also softens the look of fine lines and works as a primer under makeup.

Weightless Eye Cream — A lightweight formula that improves circulation to target dark circles and puffiness, while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Dynamic Lifting Serum — A powerful serum that provides immediate as well as long-term firming benefits, increasing tautness in the eye and jowl areas.

Transformative Night Cream — An intensive nightly application that encourages cell turnover and stimulates collagen production for a vibrant, ageless look.

At first I was a little overwhelmed when I saw all the products in the line. I like my beauty regime simple and it really did seem like a lot of tubes to be opening up and applying to my face day and night. Starting with the Skin Recovery Formula which is meant to applied morning and night after cleansing. This stuff initially feels greasy but it quickly absorbs into your skin. Then comes the Dynamic Lifting Serum meant to be applied morning or night. This is very cooling and lightweight, it is clear and almost gel like. You follow with the Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer which you use both morning and night. This is creamy  and leaves your skin feeling really soft. The Transformative Night Cream is a little heavier but still doesn not leave your skin feeling greasy. Finally the Weightless Eye Cream to be applied morning and night goes on smoothly and does not irritate the sensitive area around your eyes. In fact all of these products are very gentle on the skin and did not cause any redness, itching, burning, or irritation that I have experienced with some products in the past. I was very surprised that after applying all these products on my face it did not feel greasy and weighed down, everything absorbed quickly and my skin felt nourished. I also love that these products all have a pump like action that makes it easy to dispense, even the night cream which looks like a jar of cream dispenses with a little push. I think continuous use of these products will have my skin looking it's best. You can purchase My Prime online and while the price of each product may seem a little high, this is usually the case when you have a good quality product that works.

Eyn Product Review

I love my iPhone, when I got it I couldn't believe that I would use it as much as I do now. I use it for not only phone calls and messages but also my email, games for my kids and I can also use it to charge credit cards for my business and check my facebook account from anywhere. With all of these amazing things that I can do I really never thought about my case.

Most people when they are picking out their iPhone case they look at style and color. This has always been our only option but now not only can you get your favorite color and style but you can also get a phone case that has a usable function.

eyn was developed as a simple solution to an everyday problem: having the freedom to walk around with just your phone and a few necessities—a couple credit cards, some cash and your i.d. They felt that most people nowadays don't want to carry much more, so that's why they created eyn (pronounced 'n')— which stands for everything you need.

While designing eyn, their goal was to create a built-in storage area within the case that clicks shut and keeps your personal items hidden and secure, so you can carry everything together all in one place.

Well from they moment I got my case I knew I was going to love this but I had to test it out. I was a little nervous about putting my ID and my credit card in my case because I misplace my phone so much. Plus my kids both play with my phone and I was afraid my 2 year old would get his hands on my cards. So I put some cash in it and carried it around with me to the coffee shop, grocery store and the movies. Everywhere I went I got "wow where did you get that" and "that is so cool, I want one". I had a very positive response to it. It's easy to latch and I am confident my things will not fall out. I would have loved this in college and I know I will use it when I am traveling.
I did find the perfect everyday use for it. My business cards...I know genius! I always forget to throw them in my purse or I have them in my car. But I never forget my phone so when I am talking to someone and they are interested in my business I have a card right there. Very convenient! Here's a picture of how I use it. I know it's not a great picture but you can at least see how it worked for me.

I highly recommend you getting one of these cases. Oh and a bonus you can open the phone case and use it to prop up your iPhone when you are watching a movie! Love this for the kids!

Pre orders for the iPhone 5 case are available now. Also, out now, the new Buddha Nose Lip Balm, made exclusively to fit inside of the eyn case.

The eyn case ($29.99) and lip balm ($10.00/4) can be purchased at www.eynproducts.com.

Revlon Limited Edition Hair Tools Review

Revlon is well known for their cosmetics and beauty tools but they also sell an array of hair tools. Hair appliances like blow dryers, hair setters, flat irons as well as hair brushes and accessories. Recently I was introduced to their limited edition designer hair tools. These bring style and personality to your hair routine. When my little girl saw them she said "oooh fashion". That's exactly what these hair appliances are fashionable and artistic and with all the latest technology so not only will you look good while doing your hair but your hair will look it's best when you are finished.

These are the products I was sent for my review:

1875 Watt Ionic Nano Ceramic Turbo Dryer in python print.

1 inch Nano Ceramic Ionic Straightener in python print

Tapered Nano Ceramic Ionic Digital Styling Iron in ribbon print

When I saw these products I immediately fell in love with them. They were sure prettier then the plain Jane hair tools from my past. I especially loved the python print with it's rocker look, my husband even said if it weren't for the pink in the print he would totally take these to work with him. :) Aside from these looking great they also work great. The dryer has a lot of power and drys my hair very quickly. I love the hair straightener it doesn't take long to heat up and provides the super straight hair I love. As for the curling iron, it's a little different then the typical iron I am used to. It is tapered and creates tight curls or natural looking curls that start towards the end of your hair. My hair is short and I think this particular iron is meant with longer hair in mind. I tested it out on Penelope who needed to be fancied up for a Fancy Nancy party she was invited to.

Here she is before with her stick straight hair, and here she is after all dolled up and ready to party.

I love that it left her hair flowing and added body. I had a hard time trying to figure out exactly how to work the iron because like I said it was different then what I was used to. I think with a little practice I will be able to make the perfect curled do. I also think this would make the cutest Shirley Temple locks!

These limited edition tools are being sold only at Target stores. I was their just last week and they still had these particular designs available. Be sure to check out your nearest Target for any limited edition designs available.

Olay Total Effects Review

Olay is a well known name that has been providing bath and beauty products for over 50 years. Their wide range of products include soaps, lotions, cleansers, creams, and hair removal products. Their products are made to help with a variety of skin concerns such as acne, aging and dry skin. I am pretty sure you have come across at least one of their products sometime in your life. I am very familiar with their bar soaps which we use regularly and my mom loves their facial cleansers and creams. I was recently sent one of their products from their Total Effects line for review.

Olay Total Effects are meant to fight the 7 signs of aging:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles: reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven Tone: balances and helps even out tone
  • Age Spots: reduces appearance of discoloration
  • Gentle Exfoliation: Improves surface cell turnover
  • Dryness: provides nourishing moisturization
  • Moisture Barrier: strengthens skin’s natural defense against moisture loss
  • Luminosity: recaptures youthful luminosity

  •
I received Olay's Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15.

fights fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone, age spots, and dryness. At the same time, it also works to improve surface cell turnover with gentle exfoliation, strengthen skin’s natural defense against moisture loss, and recapture youthful luminosity.

This moisturizer comes in three different shades fair to light, light to medium, medium to deep. You apply it to your face alone or under your foundation for a sheer coverage that is suppose to even out your skin tone and help to cover up imperfections. I found that while it goes on smooth it does feel a little greasy. The coverage alone is not very noticeable but I have been using it under my foundation/powder compact and feel my skin looks smoother and more even. I have only been using this color correction cream for a few days so I can't really say if it is improving the look of my skin in the long run but I think it helps for those days when your skin is not at it's best.

You can purchase Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 and other Olay products at your local drugstore or Target store.
