In 2007 when I found out I was pregnant the first thing I did was run out and buy every pregnancy book I could find. It was my first pregnancy and I wanted to know anything and everything about what to expect. If only Making Babies had been out then!

Making Babies is a 480 page book that covers everything from before conception to six months after birth. It includes recipes to make sure you are meeting all your health needs while pregnant and nursing. Wonderful natural remedies and herbal concoctions to help while you are trying to get pregnant, during, and after. All the facts and research on fertility, conception, morning sickness, birth, nursing, postpartum issues, getting your pre baby body back and much more. There is also a DVD series to go along with this book. The 7 hour Making Babies DVD follows Author of the book, Shoshanna Easling, through her pregnancy, birth, and after.

Shoshanna grew up as the youngest in a family of five children. She was taught early on about healthy natural living, herbal remedies, and hard work. In 1998 her family established Bulk Herb Store. Immediately upon opening up the Making Babies book I was so impressed. It is a beautiful book filled with gorgeous pictures and a ton of information. I find myself flipping through the pages often and sharing them with anyone who is around. I can't say enough, this is the book I wanted when I was pregnant! The DVD is equally great. I love how the recipes in the book come to life on the DVD and Shoshanna is so likable. I truly enjoyed watching her prepare, demonstrate, and explain all. My husband and I are still trying for baby number 2 and I am excited about all the information I am finding out about fertility and about trying some of the recipes to help us conceive. This is the one book that I think all new mothers should have. If you know someone who is pregnant or trying to get pregnant this would make a lovely gift. So I used to be "the girl" that totally made fun of things like this ! REALLY a pillow that can slow down the inevitable age progression ! BUT there is so much truth to this and as I age in years , I am noticing more and more of a reason to look into this product .. have you ever woke up from a deep slumber with lines all over your face from the imprint of the pillow or your hand ? Well as we age those lines take longer and longer to disappear ..And I swear some just make a home on my face ! Geez !! So I haven't had the opportunity to try this product out but I most definitely will.

Ok so , I have been a professional MUA for over 13yrs for MAC Cosmetics & recently I have had the opportunity to review this Product called OC8 . It says it is for oily to normal skin to help prevent shine & oil oxidation throughout the day .. Well I am here to tell you that this product is AMAZING ! not only is it light weight & quick drying on the skin , it does not interfere with your daily makeup routine ! Literally I tried this product out for 2 weeks KNOWING that skin begins to react after a week to new product & BOOM , I have found my new favorite mattifyer !

Dr. Bonner's Castile Soap Review

About three years ago I searched online for an eco-friendly organic soap that would clean my sensitive combination skin. I am a member of the Squidoo community and it is there that I came across a lens/page that introduced me to Dr. Bonner’s Castile Soap. Hands down it is my favorite soap of all times.

Before making a purchase of this soap I researched it and read reviews to find more about its eco-friendly qualities as well as what people thought about it. This soap is indeed eco-friendly: fair-trade, organic, natural, recycled container, etc. It is also very popular. I have never seen so many positive reviews about a product, especially an affordable natural soap, as I did with this one. Dr. Bonner’s Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap seemed to be the most popular one too. So, I decided I had to give it a try. Wow!

This is the best soap I have ever used. The first time I tried it made my skin tingle everywhere (yes, even the sensitive areas) as it cleaned my skin. I was hooked from that day on. A few drops of this soap on a wash cloth went a long way and lathered up perfectly, not too much and not too little. Out of the shower my skin still feel fresh and clean for hours after and it does not dry my skin. It has a pleasant smell to it too, minty.

Dr. Bonner’s Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap can be used all over the body, including the hair, but I found shampooing my hair with it was not my favorite, though it does clean it well. So, I use it only for my skin. I have tried other castile soaps for my skin and not one compares to this one. The neatest thing about Dr. Bonner’s Peppermint Soap is that it can be used as a regular house (kitchen, bathroom, floor) cleaning agent, laundry and for washing your pet too. To be honest though, I haven’t used it on anything else but myself because I’m selfish. Therefore, I can’t say if it works well as a household cleaning agent or pet wash.

At first, to try the soap, I bought the small sized bottle, this was a bit pricey, but then I discovered there were gallon sized containers of this soap. Buying it by the gallon saves money. So, I buy it in bulk, in gallons, to save money and I love that I can do that. Most companies don't care about saving you money. Dr. Bonner’s does. The last gallon I bought was more than a year ago and I still have ¼ of it left to use for many more months.

A few weeks ago I was sent some Smashbox eye shadows and lip gloss to review. This was my first time trying this cosmetic line and I absolutely love it.

Their new 15 hour Wear Cream Shadow is fabulous. At first I was a little hesitant about trying the shadow because I have used cream shadow in the past and it always caked up in the creases of my eyelids. Not an attractive look. This cream eye shadow is like none I have ever tried. It goes on creamy but turns into a powdery finish. It looks velvety soft and lasts a long time. I love the colors I was sent, Riches and Sterling. Both of these look great on any skin tone, use Riches for a bright glow on your eyes and Sterling for a sexy smoky eye. These sell for $19 and if you can't live with bare eyelids well worth the money.

I also love their new Reflection High Shine Lip Gloss. I love lip gloss and this one is now one of my favorites. I have been using it everyday. Glossy lips are so pretty don't you think? This gloss is super shiny! It also contain vitamins and hyaluronic acid that deeply moisturizes and smooths and helps fill in fine lines. I was sent Candy for review. It is a girly shade of bubblegum pink. I wear this alone when I just want a hint of color but lots of gloss and also wear it over matte lipsticks for a shimmer that pops. This lip gloss also sells for $19.
