Stove in a Can Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Stove In A Can? I wasn't sure about this at first and how it would work but I thought I would give it a try.  It turns out this would be great for on the beach, while camping and also for keeping one in the car with the rest of the emergency kit. The stove in a can works everywhere and it's easy to use.

  • Heats water, cooks food & keeps you warm in an emergency or recreationally. Provides a campfire-like experience in an self-contained, compact solution.

  • Boils water in 5 minutes & each fuel cell lasts for over an hour. Need more time? Re-use the container & replace the fuel cell as needed. (Comes with 4 cells)

  • Indefinite shelf life. Buy it once & use when needed. Great for emergency & 72-hour kits.

  • Safe, Compact & Durable. Uses a non-explosive, 100% waterproof fuel source. Measures just 6″ wide x 4″ tall.

  • 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed or your money back.

  • We tried the Stove in a Can on a clear day on the beach. After fishing and playing on the beach all morning we wanted to fry up some of our catch for lunch. I remembered that I had put one of the the Stove in a Can's in my car with some pans in my "Just in Case" box (I have a box that holds lighters, canned food, water, Stove in a Can and pans- it's great to have for emergency or for when your out and need some supplies.) We got the pan heated up quick and fried us up our fish. It was fun and easy, it heated up the pan evenly and the fish was delicious!

My husband is really excited to try the Stove in a Can out hunting this year. It's not too heavy and it will work for the short hunting and fishing trips that he has planned. I look forward to hearing how it works out in the woods and how easy it is to pack.

Father's day is coming up and this would make a great gift to include with some hunting or fishing equipment!

    Boogie Wipes Review

    Boogie Wipes
Every mom deals with boogie noses now and again, and with two kids you can bet when one gets sick so does the other. I think every mom should have a pack of Boogie Wipes in there purse and diaper bag for just those times. I really loved getting the chance to try these. Soon after I recieved my Boogie Wipes both of my kids got sick, of course, and these were much appreciated. Not only do they work on noses but also on the boogies and crusties in their eyes. I am now a big fan of these, they wipe up the mess easy and without the scratchy feeling you get with a tissue. Try them you'll like them too!

Boogie Wipes are made with natural saline to dissolve boogies (mucus) caused by the common cold, allergies or otherwise booger-filled kid moments.
Extra soft, alcohol, phthalate and paraben free, Boogie Wipes are available in Great Grape, Fresh Scent, Minty Menthol and Simply Unscented. Recommended by pediatricians as a gentle, effective alternative to a dry tissue.

    Winner #1 Maria T

Krill Oil is the oil harvested from antarctic krill, a shrimp like crustacean that lives deep in the ocean. Scientists and doctors have discovered that ingesting this oil can have amazing affects on your body including a stronger heart, pain-free joints, a better mood, lower cholesterol, easier menstruation and overall better health.

Krill oil is a miraculous discovery from the deep pure waters of Antarctica that literally beats the pants off fish oil. When tested head to head by an independent laboratory our supplement was found to be 54x more powerful in antioxidant activity than fish oil!

I was given bottles of Viva Labs Krill oil to review and since I have been taking it religiously everyday. I can't honestly say that I have felt any different since I started taking Krill oil but after reading all the research and hearing about all the health benefits it is something I will continue to take with my other vitamins. You can read more information on Krill oil and why you may benefit from taking it by visiting Everest Nutrition's Facebook and Twitter pages.

    NightCare Heel Treatment Kit Review

We are dedicated to providing you products with the sole focus of helping you look and feel your best. We offer skin care for the hands and feet as well as foot comfort products for your shoes. Enjoy!

I had never heard of NightCare products before I was approached to review their Heel Treatment Kit. Being a mom I am constantly on my feet and by the end of the day not only am I exhausted but my feet are tired as well. To top it off I get the added bonus of having dry skin on my heels from standing all day. UGH!

The NightCare Heel Treatment Kit includes a Moisturizing Gel Heel Sock and a 2 oz. tube of Intensive Healing Foot Cream. Together these products are designed to soften dry skin and moisturize with vitamins to help heal and prevent dry cracked heels.

When I received my kit and read over the contents and directions on the box I was initially disappointed. I was going to have to wear socks to bed. Another Ugh! I have this weird thing about feeling like my feet are suffocating if I wear socks to bed. Weird huh? It's very uncomfortable for me and I especially hate my feet feeling hot. When I opened up the box and took a look at the "Heel Socks" I actually felt a little relief. These are like socks, but not. They slip over your feet and have a gel padding that fits perfectly over your heel but your toes are actually not covered. It's like a little sock for your heel. A little soothing and refreshing and moisturizing sock for your heel. The first night I applied the foot cream to my tired tootsies and they immediately felt rehydrated. Did I even need the socks? I went ahead and put them on anyway. Immediately I loved the cool sensation the gel gave my heels and believe it or not these were actually very comfortable to wear. The first morning after wearing them for the entire night I took them off and my heels were no longer dry and actually felt super smooth and soft. I was very impressed. Since then I have been wearing my heel socks about every other day and my heels have never felt better. The lotion is just an added bonus!

Currently you can purchase a NightCare Heel Treatment Kit for the sale price of $20.00. If you are someone that is on your feet all day or just loves a little pampering I would definitely recommend it.
Be sure to check out all the other NightCare products as well.

    GreenSmart Review

There as so many Green products out there these days that we have lots of choices. Everything from clothing to bags, you name it. I recently learned about GreenSmart and their fabulous eco- friendly laptop sleeves and after checking out all the styles I had to try one out.

Their mission is to offer bags that make you feel good. Any brand can make attractive bags and be indifferent to the resources it takes to make them. GreenSmart is different. GreenSmart cares. Using eco-friendly materials and socially responsible labor are two of the most significant ways we have to embed thoughtfulness into the design of a bag. Who doesn’t want to see recyclable materials (plastic bottles) turned into something functional and beautiful?
They used to make bags from from polyester, neoprene and nylon. Back in the 20th Century that was the only choice they had for durable fabrics. Along with the new numbers, the 21st Century has offered great strides in material options for bag-making and they try to utilize them exclusively. They hope that their commitment will continue to delight consumers and make a difference.
Here is the bag that I decided on. It's the 16" Markhor, it is fully padded and sized for a 16" laptop, with extra padding in the corners. It also has two zipped pockets on the front and a filling pocket in back. I really could have used this nice bag in college when I was taking my laptop to the library and to class everyday. This is a great bag. It's functional and I feel safe that my laptop is completely protected in it.

With Graduation coming up this would make a great gift for those high school students that are going off to college. They have a variety of styles to choose from. In addition to laptop sleeves and carry bags GreenSmart also carries messenger bags, backpacks and water holders. All of which would also make a nice graduation/going away to college gift. Go Green!
