Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Products Review

Can you believe school is out?! Time to wind down from all the hustle and bustle of the school year. I think us moms are in need of some pampering and relaxation before all the summer activities commence. What better way to unwind from all the stress then to settle in for a nice long bath.

Dr. Teal's has some wonderful bath products to soothe your body and relax your mind. This wellness line combines the amazing benefits of pure Epsom salt with essential natural oils to help soothe muscle aches and pains, exfoliate and moisturize your skin and reduce stress.

I received the New Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Body Lotion and Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Body Wash for review. Both of these products are also enhanced with eucalyptus and spearmint, shea butter, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. They are designed to hydrate and soften dry skin while relieving tired and achy muscles from running around all day. This lotion is very invigorating, I love the way it smells, herbaceous, like nature. It absorbs into your skin quickly and leaves it feeling satiny soft. This stuff is especially wonderful on feet! It helps soothe achiness and keeps them smooth and summer ready. I also enjoyed the body wash and I found myself breathing in it's scent as I lathered up my body, very relaxing. Dr. Teal's also has a Foaming Bath which I imagine is heavenly to soak in. I love, love, love these products! You can purchase Dr. Teal's at Target, Ulta Beauty and drugstores nationwide. You won't be sorry!

Blender Boyz Review

Recently I was introduced to Blender Boyz single serve drink mixes that are easy to make and come in a variety of flavors.

Looking for something for your upcoming summer celebrations? Try Blender Boyz cocktails.

These single-serve liquid drink pouches come in a 4 ct. box and are ready to be mixed with your favorite alcohol. Drinking not your thing, no worries these can be made sans alcohol for a tasty virgin variety. My husband Chris enjoyed the Strawberry Daiquiri blended up with some rum and ice. He is a sweet cocktail kinda guy and this totally made his day. I tried the Margarita with my go to Grey Goose instead of tequila. It was nice and tart, just like I like them. Of course we couldn't leave our daughter Penelope out of all the fun. She loved her virgin Pina Colada, it was sweet and tropical and yummy.

Are you a smoothie lover? Blender Boyz has those too!

Strawberry Banana, Berry Blend or Tropical Paradise (above) are blended with ice and your choice of juice, milk or yogurt for a delicious daily dose of Vitamin C. Each pouch contains one and a half servings of real fruit!

For all you coffee lovers, guess what? Blender Boyz also has you covered.

Enjoy a refreshing Iced Cappuccino in Original, Caramel, and Vanilla, and at a fraction of coffee house prices. These have real coffee in them for a little pick me up. I enjoyed the original flavor and I can't wait to make one for Chris, the real coffee lover in our house.

All of these Blender Boys mixes can be purchased online. My Florida readers can find them at Target and Walgreens and my Texas readers can pick some up at their local HEB. Cool down this summer with Blender Boyz!

ChopSaver Review

Originally created by a professional musician, ChopSaver was developed to deal with lip conditions that are common among brass and woodwind players. This lip balm quickly found a following among non-musicians do to it's superior moisturizing and healing properties. Now you can get your hands and lips on the stuff too!

ChopSaver comes in two different varieties; 100% natural and SPF 15. They contain certified organic ingredients and are non-petroleum based. Ingredients like mango and Shea butters are blended together with avocado, ginger and Arnica oils to help relieve dry, cracked lips. ChopSaver has also been used to help with eye puffiness and dry skin spots.

I received a tube of the SPF15 for review. The citrus oil gives it a very pleasant scent and the combination of oils and butters leave your lips super soft. Normally when the weather becomes chillier my lips tend to dry up really bad. My ChopSaver has been my lip saver! I keep it in my purse and I have only had to apply it a few times because it adds much needed moisture to my lips that lasts. My daughter also uses and loves this stuff because it is one of the few lip balms I own that does not contain peppermint or eucalyptus, both of which tends to sting when applied on chapped lips.

Like I said earlier you can purchase ChopSaver at your local CVS store or online at chopsaver.com. They also offer a FREE mini sample packet if you would like to try before you buy.

BabyFoot Review

Want a no fuss way to get your feet baby smooth? Try Baby Foot, the all natural Japanese foot exfoliant that is getting rave reviews. Winner of 2015's City Awards for Cosmetic Innovator of the Year, Baby Foot, has got your soles covered, literally. Baby Foot booties are meant to be slipped onto your feet for approximately 1 hour and within 3 to 7 days the dead rough skin on your heels will peel away leaving you with "baby" feet. The unique formula contains 17 natural extracts that allow your feet to naturally exfoliate dead skin away.

The principal ingredient of Baby Foot is fruit acid which is very gentle, when compared with other acids. The fruit acid penetrates into the layers of dead skin cells and breaks down the desmosomes which hold the layers together. By this process, skin is undamaged but peels easily away from the fresh layer beneath.

Baby Foot not only exfoliates your feet but moisturizes them as well. It can also improve foot odor, athletes feet and blood circulation.

I was given a sample of Baby Foot for review and I was pretty excited to give it a go. The skin on my heels tends to get dry, pumice stones are my best friend and I am always lathering on the foot lotion. I liked the idea that this was something that would continuously moisturize my feet without added effort.

I thought the plastic booties were pretty silly looking and I wasn't sure how comfortable I was going to be in them. I decided to have some alone time in my bedroom. I put the booties on and then placed some socks over them so I wouldn't make a mess, rested my legs on the bed, and enjoyed an hour of peace and quiet. The booties were initially cold and felt like jelly on my feet but believe it or not the sensation was rather relaxing. After an hour I rinsed off my feet and they were indeed softer then when I started. The cool thing about this product though was that I noticed that for several days after my feet felt gradually softer after showering. This is a great product! Baby Foot can be used whenever your feet start to feel a little dry but it is recommended that you use every 2 months. One application of Baby Foot can be purchased for $25.

See what others are saying about Baby Foot here!

California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review and Giveaway

Closed

Winner #48

Let's start the new year right, with a new California Pizza Kitchen! The popular eatery is unveiling not only a new menu but a whole new look. CPK's across the country will be gradually rolling out their "Next Chapter" menu featuring fresh seasonal ingredients, inventive main plates, hand-crafted cocktails and customizable lunch duos. In addition the new décor will include a more modern but rustic look, sustainable materials and fabrics made from recycled materials and a natural herb garden.

I was invited to check out the new menu at their Temecula location, one of the first locations to offer the new menu items. Unfortunatly this particular location has not received the new décor makeover but I was told that it should be happening sometime early this year. Here are a couple of sneak peeks of what CPK has in store for their customers.

I love it! Now for the real reason you are all still reading, the food. Here are a couple of photos of some of the new items on the menu.

You can check out the entire Next Chapter Menu here

I decided to bring along my mom and daughter to enjoy a nice weekend lunch. As usual the place was lively and packed. After perusing the new cocktail offerings we decided on a Coconut Blossom and a California Roots. My daughter had one of their new kid friendly options, the Fresh Strawberry Mango Cooler.

All of the beverages were amazing! The Coconut Blossom is a combination of vodka, tequila, fresh agave sour, coconut puree and fresh pineapple. It is tropical, sweet but not to sweet, and so tasty. The California Roots consisted of vodka, fresh avocado and mint, fresh agave sour with a fennel salt rim. I loved the uniqueness of this cocktail. It was clean, a little tart and so refreshing. The Strawberry Mango Cooler is an elevated version of a strawberry drink with the addition of mango, guava and ginger, yummy. All of the drinks were wonderful for sipping and enjoying with the complimentary crusty bread and dipping oil.

As a starter we decided to try the new Smoked Ham and Swiss Flatbread.

Emmentaler and goat cheese with caramelized onions and smashed garlic croutons. The flatbread was crisp and the toppings were loaded with flavor.

For our entrees we decided to share the new Harvest Kale Salad and The Sunnyside-Up Bacon and Potato Pizza.

The Harvest Kale Salad includes baby kale, toasted farro, roasted butternut squash, Napa cabbage, shaved pear, marinated cranberries, spiced pecans and creamy goat cheese. A bountiful serving of healthy foods combined to make a delicious salad. Everything melded well together and tasted fresh and light. This was actually our favorite out of everything we tried, aside from the cocktails.

The Sunnyside-Up Bacon and Potato Pizza tasted as you would expect, like breakfast. This would be a nice brunch meal with one of CPK's sangria's. While this wasn't our favorite CPK pizza it was still pretty good. The crust had the usual wood oven taste and the toppings were plentiful.

My mom and I were completely stuffed after all this food and we even had leftovers of everything to take home! My daughter however couldn't pass up on their newest dessert option, their version of a classic Smores Dessert.

This one is definitely for someone with a sweet tooth. Crushed graham cracker crust on the bottom, topped with a decadent kettle cooked Belgian chocolate pudding, dark chocolate chunks and finished off with brulee'd marshmallows. What could make a dessert lover any happier?

We had a terrific lunch experience learning about end enjoying the newest offerings from CPK. Our servers were super attentive and knowledgeable and the general manager Jose was extremely helpful. I asked him if there was anything else he wanted me to share with all of you and he mentioned their CPKids Parties. Did you know that CPK offers fun parties that allow kids to play chef and make their own pizzas? These parties include a VIP behind-the-counter restaurant tour, a meal and dessert and souvenirs. A CPKids party is reasonably priced and makes party planning super easy for parents. My daughter is having a birthday next month and we are already planning her CPKids party!
