Out of Africa Pure Shea Butter Hand Creams Review

Out of Africa sells shea butter products that are all natural, paraben-free, and eco-friendly. Shea butter is a substance made from the nuts of the Karite tree which is native to west and east Africa. It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin F, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants all of which help nourish, hydrate and revitalize the skin. Want to learn more about the benefits of shea butter? Check out their website here.

I was sent two of their Shea Butter Hand Creams for review, Olive with Aloe and Lemon Verbena. This luxurious hand cream also comes in Vanilla but is currently sold out. Right now I am using the Olive hand cream and I absolutely love it. I always have to smell a new product when I get it and this particular cream did not have much of a scent to it. It is very rich and thick but quickly absorbs into your skin leaving your hands super soft without a greasy residue. The first time I tried the cream I couldn't stop touching my hands. I have not used the Lemon Verbena yet but I did open it up and take a whiff, it has a pleasant citrus scent and I imagine it works just as well as the Olive hand cream. While most other brands contain only 1 to 2 % shea butter, Out of Africa's Shea Butter Hand Creams contain 20% of the finest, pure and unrefined shea butter.

The shea butter in Out of Africa’s Hand Creams can also help to prevent premature aging and other skin ailments like blemishes, wrinkles, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, stretch marks, scars and dermatitis.

A 1 oz. tube sells for $6.99 while a 2.5 oz. tube sells for $10.99. With each purchase that is made Out of Africa contributes 15 cents to help provide education to women and children in West Africa. You can purchase these hand creams and other Out of Africa products online.
