Alvita Tea Review

I am pretty sure I have mentioned this here before but I am a tea drinker. I love tea! I like it iced and I like it hot. I like a cup of refreshing Green tea and I like a nice hot cup of relaxing Chamomile. I like some English Breakfast with milk and sugar as well as some Mint with lemon and honey. I especially love to find and taste new types and flavors of tea. Several months back I was given the opportunity to try a couple of  Alvita teas by Twinlab.

Alvita teas are made with the finest herbs, herbs that have been selected for their health benefits and medicinal properties. They have a variety of teas to choose from like Echinacea which is said to help support a healthy immune system and fight colds and Licorice Root which is used to support respiratory health. I was sent their Ginger Peppermint herbal tea and their Passionflower herbal tea.

I have had ginger tea and I have had peppermint tea but I had never had them together. It is delicious! I love how it smells, the spicy scent of ginger and the refreshing scent of peppermint. Both of these herbs are supposed to help settle an upset stomach and other digestive issues so it is a great tea to have on hand in your medicine cabinet or pantry. It also tastes really good iced.

This was my first time trying passionflower tea. I expected it to have more of a floral scent and taste but it was a little more smoky and earthy. Passionflower is supposed to ease nervousness and restlessness and help you get a good nights sleep. I have been enjoying this tea in the evenings and it always makes me feel calm and relaxed.

You can find out more about Alvita's teas on their website and can purchase them via Twinlab or in several stores nationwide.
