TRῡHAIR Review

TRῡHAIR by Chelsea Scott is currently one of the best selling hair care lines on HSN. Renowned beauty expert and salon owner Chelsea Scott created the TRῡHAIR line of products to offer "easy to use solutions that give big results". So whether you are in need of some more volume, extra shine, or some temporary color touch up, TRῡHAIR has got you covered.

I was sent four products in the TRῡHAIR line for review. The Extreme Volume Shampoo & Conditioner, Root Blaster Root Volumizing Spray, and Miracle Hair Serum Oil-Free Replenishing Complex. It is no secret that I have flat, limp, lifeless, and thin hair. I have shared this with Girly Girl readers on numerous occasions. The people over at TRῡHAIR asked me what my hair concerns were and after telling them, these were the products they chose for me.

I have been using the Extreme Volume Shampoo for several weeks now. The shampoo itself is very thin and runny when you put it into your hand, it does lather up a bit once you get it going through your hair, but I have noticed I have to use a bit more shampoo then I normally use to get all my hair washed. The smell is kind of a clean soap-y smell and it leaves your hair smelling nice and freshly washed even after it is rinsed out. I mean hours later my hair still smells squeaky clean. I love this because often times shampoos will give you this amazing smell upon washing your hair but it is immediately gone the moment you rinse the shampoo out of your hair. What a tease! The conditioner on the other hand is a much thicker texture. I felt like I had to rinse my hair several times after applying it to make sure that it was all out of my hair. Together this shampoo/conditioner duo gave my hair a little volume with lots of softness and manageability. I almost always blow dry my hair because it tends to get a little frizzy and I get these annoying flyaways. I noticed that even when I let my hair air dry after using these products my hair is smooth and silky. Nice!

The Root Blaster Volumizing Spray is meant to be used on your roots and the crown of your head for added lift and volume. As with most root volumizing products on my thin hair, this product did nothing for me. I truly believe that my hair is just too thin for anything like this to work. These products just leave my hair feeling stiff and looking a little greasy. I think someone with a full head of hair that just has a problem with body might benefit from this product a bit more. I am passing this along to my mom who uses similar products regularly.

The Miracle Hair Serum is the one product I was sent that I was most impressed with. Although I don't see it on TRῡHAIR's website so I am not sure if this is a new product or one that is no longer available. This product is meant to add shine and luster to your hair while creating fullness and body. It helps reduce frizziness and add moisture to dry damaged hair. The first time I used this product I was a little unsure, the product says it is oil free but when you put it on your fingertips it does have a oily feel to it. When working it through your hair it initially feels greasy but quickly absorbs into your hair and what's left is soft, shiny, frizz free, manageable hair. I use this product on my damp hair after washing and I actually think this product works a lot better at giving my hair body and volume then the Root Blaster.
