Mary Kay Makeup Review

Mary Kay is a well known name in cosmetics that has been around for many many years. It seems as of late I have been hearing a lot about the company and it's products. You probably know or have met a Mary Kay consultant in your life, I know several. Still it wasn't until recently that I actually tried Mary Kay. I first tried their NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss and thought it was a great product that I continue to use today. When I was given the opportunity to get the word out about several more of their products I was eager to do so.

· Mary Kay Eyeliner in Steely ($12) This long-wearing, ultra-creamy formula glides on smooth for waterproof, smudge-proof and fade-resistant wear.

· Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in Rich Fig ($15) This stay-true formula glides on easily with a lightweight, creamy texture for rich color impact that lasts. Vitamin E and a Vitamin C derivative helps defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals.

· Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush ($10) For a soft appearance that won’t compete with eyes or lips, the Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color is famous for its oil-absorbing properties, ease of application and excellent coverage. Containing Vitamins A, C and E, it also helps to protect against wrinkle-causing free radicals.

              · Mary Kay Lash Love Waterproof Mascara ($15) Make your eyes pop with this brand new
waterproof formula that contains exclusive Mary Kay Panthenol-Pro Complex.

I really love the eyeliner and how easy it is to apply. It glides on almost like a felt tip marker and is very easy to create the perfect line. It stays on all day and I have to use makeup remover in the evening to make sure it is completely gone.

The lipstick is very creamy and moisturizing. I have to apply it a few times throughout the day as it tends to wear off. I felt the shade I was sent was much darker then what I am used to but still a very pretty and deep purplish red.

I have only used the blush a couple of times as I don't normally wear blush and I am not sure that the shade I was sent is right for my skin tone. It goes on with a powdery finish and is very light and blends easily.

Lash Love is my favorite of all the products I was sent to try. The first couple of times I used it I noticed my eyelashes clumping together, not pretty. After I moved the brush up and down in the tube a few times the mascara seemed to get a better consistency. This mascara really makes my eyelashes stand out and look long and thick. Even my husband commented that this mascara was so much better then my previous brand. Really, he did!

You can find all of these high quality Mary Kay products online or via your local consultant.
