Natural Fitness Toning Kit Review and Giveaway

A few months ago, in search of more eco-friendly fitness gear and accessories I came across a website, Natural Fitness, that sells eco-friendly fitness accessories. I wanted to see how well their eco-friendly exercise equipment compared to the equipment I use on a regular basis. So, Natural Fitness sent me a Natural Fitness Toning Kit for review.

The Natural Fitness Toning Kit comes with a Burst Resistant Exercise Ball (65 cm), an Adjustable Resistance Tube, an Ankle Cuff, a workout DVD with beginner and advanced exercises and an exercise chart. The kit is meant for strengthening and toning the entire body.

First impressions: The quality of the material of the stability ball, the ankle cuff and the resistance tube are very good: sturdy, thick and strong. The quality of the equipment in this kit is better than a lot of the equipment I use everyday at home or at the gym and it is all eco-friendly: phthalate-free/non-toxic free and multi-layered eco-friendly latex.

This is a really good kit designed to work well.  The resistance ball was easy to inflate and deflate for easy storage and comfortable to use. I really felt secure on the ball (not as if it would burst beneath me) every time I used it. The ankle cuffs are padded for comfort and really are comfortable. I really liked the quick-change resistance on the handle of the resistance tube. It really can be done quickly. The Natural Fitness CD was helpful. It helped get view some a couple of new exercise to try with the Kit, but I think the exercise clips were too short. I would love to see a longer, maybe even a full 3-week program of exercises that can be done with this kit.

*Word of advice, if you have children, always deflate the ball after every use, not once. My 3 year old got a hold of the ball one day and poked a hole in the ball with a fork. I sent Natural Fitness a message and question about the possibility of using a patch and they recommended against using a patch once the ball once the ball is punctured, safety. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

  34. Fresh equipment always gives me a jump start. I need a stability ball, too. I can do so much more on one of them than on the floor.
