I was given the opportunity to review several products from their fall collection.

Everyday Minerals Blush in Girl Friday and Ambrosia
Everyday Minerals Eye Shadow in I Do Declare, Flourish, and Wild Flowers
Everyday Minerals Brow Defining Kit which includes: Dark Brown Eyeliner, Mrs. Coffee Eyeliner, Rare Silk Eye Shadow, and an Angled Bamboo Brush

I do not claim to be an expert when it comes to makeup. I know what I like and I think I do a pretty good job applying my own. I am also not someone that ventures out of the neutral shades of eye makeup so I really loved the eye shadows I was sent. They are colors that I would purchase and wear daily. I have to admit I was a little scared to open up these up. I have never used loose shadow before and I imagined I would make a huge mess. Fortunately Everyday Minerals has created the perfect little container. It has small little holes that your brush can easily pickup color through without creating a colorful dusty mess everywhere. I found that these shadows were easy to apply and work great at creating a smokey eye.

The Brow Defining Kit sells for only $10.99 and is perfect for filling in sparse eyebrows or creating a defined brow. I found I could use the Rare Silk Eye Shadow to lighten my eyelids making them really pop. It also works at creating the illusion of bigger eyes. I admit I had a little trouble with the eyeliner, I am used to using an eyeliner pencil or liquid liner. I had trouble creating the even dark line that I usually create. Again I think this works better for creating a smokey lined eye or maybe I just don't know what I am doing. : )  I really love the brush that came in this kit so much so that I am looking into buying some of the larger bamboo face brushes.

As for the blush, I went ahead and gave a friend of mine the Ambrosia shade because I found it was much darker then what I am used to. I prefer a subtle rosy glow and I found that Girl Friday gave this to me. It is very easy to get just a slight hint of color or a deep colored cheek with this blush by using a large face brush.

I really enjoyed my experience with Everyday Minerals and I would suggest if you haven't already to give them a try.
