Make a Difference!

Did you know that about one in every eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime? This Breast Cancer Awareness Month you can help someone who is fighting this disease. I am sure you have been seeing pink items everywhere and I just wanted to mention three more companies that are helping bring awareness and raising money for breast cancer research.

Butter Bell has created this Pastel Pink Crock. A portion of the proceeds from the crock will be donated to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Foundation.  The LBBC is a national education and support organization that helps women with breast cancer live long, healthy lives.  Their programs and services make a huge difference, especially for those who have little financial means or family support.  Butter Bell’s founder, Lisa Tremain is a breast cancer survivor so helping others is a priority. 10% of the sales from each Pastel Pink Crock sold will be donated to the LBBC.

Piggy Paint, a line of non-toxic, odorless, kid-friendly nail polish, has a “Fight Breast Cancer Pack.”  It contains two polishes (Forever Fancy and Angel Kisses) in a cute pink pail with 10% of the proceeds going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Send someone special fighting breast cancer a gourmet gift basket from Winebasket. The recipient will be delighted that you care to send her something to help her relax and pamper herself!  Available exclusively from, the three baskets to choose from are the Think Pink Wine Gift Basket, Someone Special White Wine Gift Basket, and Wonderful White Wine Gift Basket. A portion of the sales will be donated towards breast cancer research.
