Unfaithful Sponsors

BEWARE of these companies!

I am so embarrassed by how many sponsors have NOT come through with giveaways. The following companies and artists have not honored the prizes for their winners.

The Eco Luxe Life (website is showing FORBIDDEN message when I try to go to their site)

Crystal Ship Lampworks (seller is now unavailable on Etsy)

Mithril Dreams

Ary's Natural (did not honor TWO separate giveaways and TWO separate winners; was contacted multiple times by me with promises to send and they still did not)

Mama Rocks Designs

If you have also missed out on your prize (must be at least a month if you are in the USA/Canada or three months if you are International) use the CONTACT button to message me. Girly Girl Giveaways will not tolerate lazy sponsors or liars and wants to know if you haven't received your prize(s)!

  1. I hate to say it but I have one to add. I have been promised about 5 times to have a giveaway mailed from Therafirm socks since Mid May. It never happens.

  2. There are SO many that I could mention here!
I had also been messaging a company that seemed to have been refusing to send out some of the prizes promised on a giveaway hosted on my blog fairly recently, with multiple winners, and it wasn't until I messaged them one last time telling them that I was going to start warning other bloggers about their lack of ethics and their failure to send out the prizes to my winners that they answered me telling me that my messages had been going to their junk mail (for a month?) and it appeared like they didn't want to reply but that it had been that they haven't checked their junk mail in about two months. It didn't sound quite believable to me but they promised to send out the prizes which I hope they did, otherwise I will have to contact the winners asking if they actually ended up receiving their prizes or not.

It is too bad that they want all this advertising for free but that they are not ethic enough to send out prizes as they say they will because if we start posting about these companies on our blogs it also gives them bad reputation, so it ends up backfiring on them.

  3. Thanks for this! I don't host giveaways, but I enter them, and I'll know to stay away from contests sponsored by these companies. You could also add WEN Hair Care to your list. They won't send me a prize I won last year and have completely ignored all attempts by both me AND the host blogger to communicate with them about it.

I have considered posting dud companies on my blog, too. Thank you for doing it!
