Giveaway- Holey Donuts!

Oh man I love doughnuts. When I heard about Holey Donuts I didn't hesitate to shoot them a message asking about their low fat donuty goodness. They were gracious to send me three boxes of doughnuts. The first box was actually their Cinnamon Bun Middles, the second was their Donut Hole Sampler and the third was a 6-count doughnut sampler which included

I was incredibly impressed with how quickly I received the doughnuts and how they were received. When you order doughnuts from Holey Donuts they arrive on dry ice and solid as rocks. I was a little skeptical because everything I freeze gets freezer-burned and nasty. Ha ha! But I was pleasantly surprised to find that thawing the doughnuts on the counter in some tupperware made them moist and soft. You never would have known they were frozen at all.

My favorite ended up being the Raspberry Vanilla Truffle Donut Hole. I think I ate all of those myself (not in one day, mind you!). My kids and husband went absolutely nuts over them as well. I think their favorites were the Cinnamon Bun Middles.

So flavor- like I said they arrived frozen solid. But it didn't affect the glazes or fillings. When the doughnuts thawed out it was heaven on earth. The doughnuts are fluffy, the Cinnamon Middles MELT in your mouth and are full of gooey goodness and the doughnut holes are just little blessings you pop in your mouth.  The Cinnamon Middles have apples in them which was a pleasant surprise to me. It added to the flavor and is probably one reason these are low fat!

I have to admit that the doughnuts themselves (the regular-sized ones) didn't tickle my fancy except for the Sugar and Spice flavor. I'm more of a chocolate-doughnut girl. BUT I was all over the Cinnamon Middles and the Doughnut Holes and I highly recommend you make a purchase today to try these out for yourself!
