The creator of Ouchies asked himself, “Why are there no cool bandages?” And then set out on a quest with his wife and children to create unique, one-of-a-kind bandages for kids (and adults!). Ouchies sent me a tin of the 4Girlz bandages to test out with my Girly Girls!

When the package arrived I was so excited. I LOVE the tin that the bandages come in! This is how bandages used to be packaged and I want to collect all the tins. The bandage tins would make GREAT party favors, too! The bandages really do have fun, unique designs. They are very cool, not childish. My daughters had fun picking out which bandage to put on the pretend boo boo!

The directions read: Use bandages to cover real or imaginary cuts, scrapes or boo-boos... If you simply want to make a fashion statement but still desire sympathy for being wounded making a convincing yelp, grab an area that is "hurt" and cover area with an Ouchie as quickly as possible. Whether your wound is real or make-believe you will look darn cool covering it!

My only concern is that these don't stick very well to bare skin! I love them for fingers because then the bandage has to wrap around and stick to itself. It adheres better to itself. I'd also recommend to the company to make these more breathable and less sticker-like for real injuries. Super fun for pretend! My two Girly Girls give Ouchies two thumbs up:

What we love: the designs, the packaging (the tin!), the fun! Let imaginations run wild, throw it in your kid's pretend doctor kit, put one on your teddy bear. I also have a really hard time finding unisex party favors so being able to get a mix of boy and girl tins would be perfect for an upcoming birthday bash for one of my daughters!
