Drink up!

I have a product to share with you to keep you and your skin hydrated this scorching summer. Aqua Carpatica is the world's only nitrate-free naturally sparkling mineral water. Loaded with natural calcium and magnesium minerals, it is not only suitable for athletes and people on the go but calcium and magnesium are also said to benefit your skin. Calcium helps the body generate new skin cells while shedding the old ones and magnesium has anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and allergy reducing properties. Also I don't even think I need to mention how important water is to your entire body, inside and out. Aqua Carpatica has a nearly neutral pH of 6.5 – the closest pH level to pure water compared to other sparkling waters on the market. It also contains 0 calories, 0 carbs and 0 sodium.
I know some people are not a fan of sparkling water, no worries, Aqua Carpatica also comes in still natural spring water.

Aqua Carpatica has recently launched in the US. You can find both varieties at your local Sprouts Farmers Market Store. Drink up!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Pore-Defense Primer Serum Review

Are you a fan of Hard Candy cosmetics? Then you've gotta check out their latest Sheer Envy Pore-Defense Primer Serum. This lightweight primer will help your makeup look flawless and last throughout the day.

I received this pretty blue bottle for review and have been putting it to use. When reading the description of the product it says it instantly tightens pores and absorbs excess oil. Fortunately I do not have visible pores so I can't say whether this product helps with that issue. I do however tend to have skin on the oily-er side and I found that this product while leaving your skin with a soft satin-y texture also adds some sheen to it. I think this stuff might be better suited for someone with drier skin. I sometimes find myself with dry patches around my eyes and this stuff helps to moisturize these spots so my eye makeup doesn't look cake-y and a hot mess.  You simply rub a small amount of primer serum onto your skin prior to applying your makeup. If your skin needs a little moisture and your makeup is often left looking caked on then I would suggest applying this to your entire face to help your makeup go on smoothly. If you are like me and have skin that is a little more oily then I would suggest only using this product on dry spots or on uneven spots of your face to help with a more even appearance.

You can find Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Pre-Defense Primer Serum exclusively at Walmart stores.

Mabel's Labels Safety Bracelets Review and Giveaway

I love Mabel's Labels! I have been using them for all my daughters labeling needs since I first learned about them back in 2012. I love the ease of designing and ordering their labeling products via their website. I love that they have a variety of products to choose from. You can find labels for clothes, pantry and kitchen, and even bag tags to keep your things safe while you travel. Most importantly I love how durable these labels are. I have tossed my daughters clothes in the wash numerous times and the labels still look like new. I have even thrown her water bottle in the dishwasher over and over again and her label is still there! I was given the opportunity to review yet another useful product from Mabel's Labels and this one is perfect for summer.

Their Kids' Safety Bracelets are ID bracelets that I believe every family with little ones should have. You can customize them with your child's name and contact number should they become separated from you during a family outing. With all the activities during the summer season these will surely come in handy. They are great for trips to the amusement park, the state fair, beach outings, basically anywhere that a child may get lost in a crowd. They are water-proof, UV resistant and can be pulled and tugged and will not tear or come off. I recently had the opportunity to test out one of these bracelets at our end of the year school field trip to LEGOLAND. I had several moms notice the bracelet on my daughters arm and ask about it. They thought these were a great idea and said they would definitely be purchasing some from Mabel's Labels. I also had one mom comment that she had purchased a plastic safety bracelet for her daughter but that it was too large and moved around a lot and her daughter thought it was quite bothersome to wear. She thought that this particular safety bracelet was so much better cause you could fit it snug on the wrist almost like it was not even there. Fortunately I had my eyes on my daughter the whole day of the field trip but I felt secure knowing that if she had gotten separated there was a way for someone to contact me if they found her.

These come in a sheet of 30 bracelets and sell for $21, and a portion of the sales of this product goes to Autism Speaks. You can customize them with your child's name, your contact number, and any other pertinent info like an illness or allergy your child may have.

The people over at Mabel's Labels are allowing me to host a giveaway for one of my Girly Girl readers to win some Kid's Safety Bracelets.
