Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Products Review

Can you believe school is out?! Time to wind down from all the hustle and bustle of the school year. I think us moms are in need of some pampering and relaxation before all the summer activities commence. What better way to unwind from all the stress then to settle in for a nice long bath.

Dr. Teal's has some wonderful bath products to soothe your body and relax your mind. This wellness line combines the amazing benefits of pure Epsom salt with essential natural oils to help soothe muscle aches and pains, exfoliate and moisturize your skin and reduce stress.

I received the New Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Body Lotion and Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Body Wash for review. Both of these products are also enhanced with eucalyptus and spearmint, shea butter, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. They are designed to hydrate and soften dry skin while relieving tired and achy muscles from running around all day. This lotion is very invigorating, I love the way it smells, herbaceous, like nature. It absorbs into your skin quickly and leaves it feeling satiny soft. This stuff is especially wonderful on feet! It helps soothe achiness and keeps them smooth and summer ready. I also enjoyed the body wash and I found myself breathing in it's scent as I lathered up my body, very relaxing. Dr. Teal's also has a Foaming Bath which I imagine is heavenly to soak in. I love, love, love these products! You can purchase Dr. Teal's at Target, Ulta Beauty and drugstores nationwide. You won't be sorry!

From the makers of RevitaLash Cosmetics comes a line of hair care products designed to revive your damaged hair and rejuvenate your hair follicles to promote thicker, fuller hair.

ReGenesis Hair Enhancing System is a 6 product luxury hair care line designed to work together to give you gorgeous locks.

  • Micro-Targeting Spray ($149) targets hair cuticles with its enriched BioPeptin Complex formula, ultimately acting as a hair volume enhancer. The Micro-Targeting Spray uses a time-released formula that promotes natural shine and body to your hair. This leave-in product offers lasting results by delivering the necessary fatty lipids, peptides, and oxidants to your hair shaft, helping transform your hair into a fuller-bodied look.
  • Fast-Absorbing Foam ($149) is a lightweight and easy to apply hair volume enhancer that targets low-density hair areas.  The lightweight formula is ideal for fast application and a quick dry time. The Fast-Absorbing Foam is perfect for shorter hair types and for men.
  • Thickening Shampoo ($34) uses a Scalp Therapy Formula to promote healthier hair by strengthening hair cuticles, ultimately helping improve hair shaft thickness.
Feel your hair become youthful, all while attaining a healthier head of hair.

  • Thickening Conditioner ($36) incorporates the Scalp Therapy Formula to accomplish much more than conditioning your hair. Thickening Conditioner’s phyto-infused formula helps your hair perform better, while helping your scalp feel healthier by conditioning and defending the hair cuticle.
  • Detox Hair & Scalp Masque ($42) ideally used as a weekly treatment, integrates the ReGenesis Rejuvenating Formula to protect against hair breakage. Through detoxifying the hair and scalp, your hair follicles will feel fuller and thicker. Feel added hydration and shine after use.
  • Spot Serum ($40) implements an Anti-Breakage & Scalp Defense formula to target your specific low-density concerns. Its unique and portable packaging helps encourage healthier on-the-go hair. Typical spots such as the hairline, hair part, and crown region are uniquely enriched with the Spot Serum warming formula in order to incite thicker and fuller hair.

I am always looking for products promising to combat my flat and thin hair problem so I was eager to get my hands on these. I was sent the Micro-Targeting Spray, Fast-Absorbing Foam and Spot Serum for review. The Micro-Targeting Spray is a leave-in spray designed to be used once a day. I have an ongoing problem with leave-in products leaving my hair weighed down and greasy. This product is meant to be sprayed onto thinning areas of the head. My initial use of this product made me very sad because as usual it left the hair close to my scalp looking weighed down and gave it a stiff feeling. Not wanting to feel defeated I found I could eliminate this problem by using it right after shampooing on my wet hair and then drying and styling my hair as usual. As long as I use the dryer and brush it does get rid of the stiffness. The Fast Absorbing Foam is designed to apply to hair before styling. You can apply it on wet or dry hair but I find that it works best on my wet hair before drying. I pump three times into my hand, apply it to my hair and then comb through. I have been using this stuff daily without fail. IT leaves my hair soft and with the added body I desperately need. The Spot Serum is designed to be used twice daily. You give it a little pump and then roll onto you hairline, scalp and any thinning areas. I use this morning and night and I love that is one of the few products that absorbs quickly into my scalp without leaving a trace.

I have been using these products for less then a month now, while I do notice fullness in my hair when using the Fast Absorbing Foam, I can't honestly tell you that I have noticed a difference in my hair all around. I can tell you that these are high quality products and I would have loved to receive the other 3 products in the hair system and see if using the entire line makes a difference. I will continue to use these products and monitor my hair.  You can purchase these products online to try for yourself.

I have an amazing giveaway to offer one Girly Girl reader. The generous people at RevitaLash Cosmetics is allowing me to gift the same 3 products I received to one lucky reader. A $340 value!

Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus Review and Giveaway

Winner #15

I am going to confess something to you. While I own an iron, I in fact never use it, because I absolutely hate ironing. I know, June Cleaver would be so disappointed in me. You know that little button on your dryer that says wrinkle release? It is my best friend, but even then I have to put my wrinkled up blouse in there and let it tumble around for several minutes, and well it doesn't always get all the wrinkles out. I usually just shrug my shoulders and tell myself, it's good enough, and wear my blouse, a little wrinkly and all.

Now that you are all judging me I am going to tell you about the new Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus.

Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus is like an iron in a bottle. Place your wrinkled garment on a hanger, spray with some downy, smooth out the wrinkles with your hands and not even June Cleaver would notice there is no ironing board in sight. It's much quicker then throwing in the dryer and your not using any power other then the power in this "wonder bottle" of Downy. Even better, it leaves your clothes with a light fresh smelling scent.

I received a 500 ml bottle of this new Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus as well as a travel-friendly 3-ounce bottle for review. A couple of weeks ago I headed to Vegas for the weekend with my mom and sister. I tossed my travel size bottle of Downy in my suitcase because let's face it those convenient hotel irons that are in your room, yea no one wants to use one while on vacation. One of the first things I do when I get to my hotel room is empty my suitcase and organize everything. I took out two blouses that, surprise-surprise, were wrinkled and immediately hung them up and pulled out my magic bottle. My sister rolled her eyes and let out a little chuckle, "there's an iron you know". I completely ignored her and sprayed my wrinkles away. Guess who asked to use my magic bottle? Seriously this stuff is great. Not only for someone likes me who despises the iron but also for those of you who do a lot of traveling or just want a super convenient option to getting the wrinkles out. Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus can also be used to remove creases in pillowcases and bed sheets, curtains and tablecloths and can also be used to freshen up furniture and even smelly pet beds. You can purchase in 3 convenient sizes, 1-liter, 500 ml, and my favorite 3-ounce bottles. They are available at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, and many other grocery and drugstores nationwide.

I have a wonderful Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus gift to give one of my Girly Girl readers. Inside you will find a 1-litter bottle, 2- 500ml bottles, and a Downy branded t-shirt so you can proclaim your love of "The Wonder Bottle".
