From the makers of RevitaLash Cosmetics comes a line of hair care products designed to revive your damaged hair and rejuvenate your hair follicles to promote thicker, fuller hair.

ReGenesis Hair Enhancing System is a 6 product luxury hair care line designed to work together to give you gorgeous locks.

  • Micro-Targeting Spray ($149) targets hair cuticles with its enriched BioPeptin Complex formula, ultimately acting as a hair volume enhancer. The Micro-Targeting Spray uses a time-released formula that promotes natural shine and body to your hair. This leave-in product offers lasting results by delivering the necessary fatty lipids, peptides, and oxidants to your hair shaft, helping transform your hair into a fuller-bodied look.
  • Fast-Absorbing Foam ($149) is a lightweight and easy to apply hair volume enhancer that targets low-density hair areas.  The lightweight formula is ideal for fast application and a quick dry time. The Fast-Absorbing Foam is perfect for shorter hair types and for men.
  • Thickening Shampoo ($34) uses a Scalp Therapy Formula to promote healthier hair by strengthening hair cuticles, ultimately helping improve hair shaft thickness.
Feel your hair become youthful, all while attaining a healthier head of hair.

  • Thickening Conditioner ($36) incorporates the Scalp Therapy Formula to accomplish much more than conditioning your hair. Thickening Conditioner’s phyto-infused formula helps your hair perform better, while helping your scalp feel healthier by conditioning and defending the hair cuticle.
  • Detox Hair & Scalp Masque ($42) ideally used as a weekly treatment, integrates the ReGenesis Rejuvenating Formula to protect against hair breakage. Through detoxifying the hair and scalp, your hair follicles will feel fuller and thicker. Feel added hydration and shine after use.

Typical spots such as the hairline, hair part, and crown region are uniquely enriched with the Spot Serum warming formula in order to incite thicker and fuller hair.

I am always looking for products promising to combat my flat and thin hair problem so I was eager to get my hands on these. I was sent the Micro-Targeting Spray, Fast-Absorbing Foam and Spot Serum for review. The Micro-Targeting Spray is a leave-in spray designed to be used once a day. I have an ongoing problem with leave-in products leaving my hair weighed down and greasy. This product is meant to be sprayed onto thinning areas of the head. My initial use of this product made me very sad because as usual it left the hair close to my scalp looking weighed down and gave it a stiff feeling. Not wanting to feel defeated I found I could eliminate this problem by using it right after shampooing on my wet hair and then drying and styling my hair as usual. As long as I use the dryer and brush it does get rid of the stiffness. The Fast Absorbing Foam is designed to apply to hair before styling. You can apply it on wet or dry hair but I find that it works best on my wet hair before drying. I pump three times into my hand, apply it to my hair and then comb through. I have been using this stuff daily without fail. IT leaves my hair soft and with the added body I desperately need. The Spot Serum is designed to be used twice daily. You give it a little pump and then roll onto you hairline, scalp and any thinning areas. I use this morning and night and I love that is one of the few products that absorbs quickly into my scalp without leaving a trace.

I have been using these products for less then a month now, while I do notice fullness in my hair when using the Fast Absorbing Foam, I can't honestly tell you that I have noticed a difference in my hair all around. I can tell you that these are high quality products and I would have loved to receive the other 3 products in the hair system and see if using the entire line makes a difference. I will continue to use these products and monitor my hair.  You can purchase these products online to try for yourself.

I have an amazing giveaway to offer one Girly Girl reader. The generous people at RevitaLash Cosmetics is allowing me to gift the same 3 products I received to one lucky reader. A $340 value!

The Wet Pop Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Winner #12 rubynreba

Several weeks ago I was given the opportunity to review The Wet Brush. Let me just say that my daughter and I are still loving it. I was contacted by the company again to see if I would like to review one of their other products, The Wet Pop, but of course!

The Wet Brush Pop works it's tangle free magic just like the original Wet Brush, but it's smaller. This cute little round brush closes up like a compact and comes equipped with a mirror. Perfect for on the go styling.

The Wet Pop contains StyleFlex bristles that are firm to smooth out flyaways and are finished with ‘SofTips’ ends that gently massage your scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle, a proven benefit for hair health.

It also comes in a variety of fun colors so you can find the one that suits your personality. This would make the perfect back to school accessory for your tween and teen. It's small enough so they can throw it in their book bag or backpack and the trendy look will have their friends asking where they can get one.

These sell for $7.00 online. Take it from me, if you want tangle free hair without all the fuss then you should give this a try.

This time I was also given a Wet Pop to share with one of you. One Girly Girl reader will win a yellow Wet Pop of their very own.

The Wet Brush Review

This my 5 year old Penelope with her long and flowing hair.

Unfortunately this long hair has been a pain to brush, literally. With all the crying and fussing and screaming that has went on as I try to get the tangles out of Penelope's hair I have been tempted several times to chop it all off, but then her dream of being Rapunzel would be over. So morning after morning we have gone through the ordeal of brushing her hair, heck, it's been so bad that even the dog runs off when he sees the dreaded brush. That was until recently when we received The Wet Brush Squirt. The Wet Brush is made especially for detangling even the rattiest hair easily and painlessly. With its IntelliFlex bristles that are thin strong and flexible and meant to eliminate all tugging, tearing, pulling and ripping. No split ends, no hair loss, and best of all no more tangles!

The cool thing about this brush is even though it gets the tangles out of dry hair super easy it is meant to be used on wet hair. Use it right out of the shower or after a day of swimming. The Squirt version of The Wet Brush was specifically made for children. it's rubber coated non slip handle is ergonomically designed for little hands. It is compact so it's great for travel or to keep in your purse and it is also available in a variety of colors.

You can't even imagine how excited Penelope and I were when we received this brush and tried it for the first time. "It doesn't even hurt mommy!" is what she proclaimed with a huge grin, and my ears and sanity were thanking the creator of The Wet Brush silently inside. If you can relate to this post then I would recommend getting one of these or you can take a look at several other hair brushes and pick the one that is right for you.

Brazilian Blowout Volume Products Review

You may recall several months ago I was introduced to the Brazilian Blowout and their line of haircare products.  They have added another line to their collection, the Volume line. The four new products in this line are deigned to provide optimum fullness and volume to flat lifeless hair. These products include a Volume Shampoo, Volume Conditioner, Instant Volume Thermal Root Lift, and Instant Volume Body Boost Powder. I was sent the Thermal Root Lift for review.

Instant Volume Thermal Root Lift
is a humidity resistant, heat-activated directional spray that targets the root area of the hair for instant lift and extreme volume.

I am sure I have mentioned this before but I have the flattest, lifeless, hair ever. It is thin and fine and it takes me quite a bit to get some sort of body and lift to it. I was eager to try these new products from Brazilian Blowout not only because I had such positive results with the previous products I reviewed but because I am absolutely desperate to find something that will add some much needed body to my hair. I am loving this root lift! I have been applying it after my shower to my wet hair at the roots and then following with a blow dry using a big ol' fat round brush and my hair  actually has some life to it. Even my husband has been paying me compliments and asking what I am doing different cause he says my hair is looking fuller. Trust me when your husband notices something like that it means this product is doing something right. Their have been a few days where I skipped the Thermal Lift and trust me you can see the difference. This stuff really works wonders for even the flattest do.

You can purchase this product and more from Brazilian Blowout on Amazon.com or in salons, here's the salon locator to find one near you.

Brazilian Blowout Haircare Collection Review

I am sure you have heard about the Brazilian Blowout that is all the rage with celebrity's. Rather then your typical hair straightening treatment that leaves your hair super straight, the Brazilian Blowout leaves your hair full of volume and body but without the frizzies and flyaways. You are left with beautifully manageable hair for up to 12 weeks. You can wear your hair wavy or curly, or you can even go super sleek with the help of just your blowdryer, no brush or flat iron needed.  And with Brazilian Blowout hair products you can even get frizz free, shiny, and effortlessly manageable hair without heading to the salon. They also have a line of aftercare products if you decide to visit a Brazilian Blowout salon near you.

All products are specially formulated to promote frizz-free, healthy hair; while delivering stick straight tresses, added definition, increased shine, or a boost in volume.

Even though I have never received a Brazilian Blowout in-salon treatment I did receive two products from their aftercare line for review. The aftercare line is designed to help extend the life of your professional smoothing treatment.

Brazilian Blowout aftercare products infuse the hair with an exclusive blend of native smoothing and sealing properties incorporated into a proprietary Brazilian Super-Nutrient Complex. This complex allows for a continual and cumulative smoothing effect to occur while the hair is washed and styled in between professional treatments.

The two products I received are the Acai Smoothing Serum and Acai Deep Conditioning Masque.

The Acai Smoothing Serum is meant to be used daily. You apply a small amount on towel dry hair after washing and leave in and style as usual. I tried this on my hair and initially thought it felt a little too heavy and I was concerned it would leave my fair feeling greasy. After blowdrying my hair I was surprised at how soft and straight my hair was. Typically if I want to get super straight hair I pull out my flat iron. I did not need to do this when using this serum. I even let my mom try it out and she was super impressed. This is an awesome product.

The Acai Deep Masque is meant to be used twice a week. You apply on wet hair and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes and then rinse out. This stuff is like the mother of all hair conditioners. In fact I have stopped using a daily conditioner and only apply this twice a week and love how soft my hair is. These products are really great top quality, I can only imagine how impressed I would be after going in for a professional Brazilian Blowout treatment.

I am curious to hear if any of you have ever had a salon Brazilian Blowout? Leave me a comment if you have and tell me about your experience.
