Giveaway- Sticky Words

CLOSED
Winner- #36 Courtney

I'm ba-ack! And I bring with me lots of fun and fabulous GIRLY giveaways for my lovely readers! Sticky Words is a company that specializes in vinyl art that you can use in your home, on your car, for your business and virtually anywhere you need some pizazz.

Sticky Words carries everything from simple one-word vinyl artwork to elaborate works of art like this one right here:

Sticky Words was so good as to let us review an item of our choice. We ended up choosing their "Flower Garden with Butterflies" in white for the older girls' shared room.

Our vinyl art arrived rolled up to prevent the vinyl from getting bent or ripped. It also arrived with a neat applicator tool to help us apply it to the wall. When you receive your vinyl make sure you watch the instructional video first! I'm super glad I did. I will admit I was really intimidated by this large piece of artwork that I was supposed to put up by myself (husband was ill). Watching the video helped me visualize what I needed to do and was incredibly helpful!

Okay so I unrolled my vinyl and used my application tool and then........... when trying to line up the bottom of the work I accidentally made a huge boo boo! Since I was working with the bottom of the work the top part curled up on itself and ruined the butterflies. It was an error on my own part. Let my mistake be your lesson- you need two sets of hands for larger artwork! The smaller stuff you can most likely do on your own but have a helper with the larger stuff!

Despite my error I got the rest up without a hitch. There is one thing you must know, something I worried about. My house is 100-years-old and most of our walls are plaster (not sheetrock) so they are NOT smooth. They are very bumpy. I wondered if the vinyl art would work on my textured walls and I am here to assure you that it DOES work and it looks fabulous! Don't believe me? Check out the photos:

It was so much easier to put up then I expected, it came out looking like someone painted a mural on the wall, it works on textured walls, everyone I spoke with was so courteous and their pricing is so so so affordable compared to the vinyl artists I've seen elsewhere! This is a family-owned company which is always a huge plus in my book, too, because it means customer service.

Giveaways- Carolyn's Kitchen APRON

CLOSED
Winner- #54 E.L.F. A Family Blog

Every woman feels sexy, attractive and just all-together good about herself when she's got an apron tied around her waist as she bumbles around her kitchen. I just found beautiful vintage-inspired aprons from Carolyn's Kitchen and just had to share!

The owner and creator of Carolyn's Kitchen had this to say about her kitchen goodies- "I wanted to bring back the glamour, sexiness, and cuteness of a bygone innocent era. The gloves and fabrics are new and nicer - it's a new and improved version of the '40's."

And it is true, just check out these super cute gloves!

You CAN do the dishes, clean and cook and still look good. My husband has peered over my shoulder as I've browsed aprons. And HE likes them, too! So grab yourself a couple (don't forget matching gloves!) and enjoy being a woman!

And don't forget there is FREE SHIPPING so you can really stock up. Don't forget to grab some for any brides-to-be or Christmas gifts, too!

I am participating in the above event and I cannot wait! This is a good bloggy friend of mine and I'm excited to see what all she has in store for us... the list of giveaways is extensive and is going to blow your minds! So mark your calendars for the event!

So what am I offering to the giveaway?! I am offering one contestant, anywhere in the world, a piece from my new WISH Collection! My last giveaway event, "Make a Wish" really inspired me creatively. Check out the piece one of you could win:

It is such an amazing piece, the pictures do not do it justice! It is a dandelion, each little fluff hand-stamped. I actually wasn't sure how this would turn out but I was more than pleasantly surprised. And biggest secret- I was going to keep it for myself but the best thing about my line of work is that I can create MORE! So even if you do not win you can purchase one for yourself at Joy Belle on Etsy, the new home of my hand-stamped collections. If you do not see it in the shop shoot me a message and I'll set you up.

Giveaway- Skin Free

 CLOSED
Winner- #103 Malinda

I love finding natural bath and beauty products that are not only healthy for my skin but SMELL GOOD! Some natural things just smell a little too earthy for me. Skin Free sent me some Whipped Tamanu Body Butter, an Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar and the Acai Scrub for Sparkling Skin. First of all you must know the Skin Free Skin Care products are all natural and vegan. They do not contain harsh chemicals or petroleum-based ingredients. The best thing you can do for your skin and body is use natural products!

Whipped Tamanu Body Butter- This body butter is amazing! It is NOT GREASY! I just put some on a couple seconds ago and my hands are soft, moisturized but without the residue and grease that most other products leave behind. My skin looks healthy and clear, too. As for the scent it reminds me of roses with a hint of citrus! It really is delicious. I don't have anything negative to say about this amazing body butter that has become a staple in my house! Best part is that it is natural and safe to use on my kids and baby, too!

Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar- This soap can be used for your face, body or hair! I haven't had a chance to use it on my hair. It is a clean soap that gets your skin clean and washes away well. Most soaps leave a residue that you can feel and can leave your skill dull. NOT this soap!

Acai Scrub for Sparkling Skin- Now this scrub is a more natural scent than the Tamanu Body Butter but it happens to be my favorite bath and beauty product to review to date! You get the powerful antioxidants from the Acai berry and the scrubbing power of the granules for optimal exfoliation. I use this scrub on my face, my body, my knees and elbows and heels. It softens the rough patches but is gentle, leaving my skin clean and clear. It feels so amazing to rub this into your skin, especially your face and to wash off all the stress, dirt and grime. My skin is dry and sometimes I get mild rosacea. I love having products that are natural AND help fight the problems my skin sometimes faces due to the environment and my makeup. This is a must-have product for people of all skin types!!! The only problem that I had was that it leaked in the box when it was shipped. The leak had no affect on the product quality and was just a shipping mishap.

Skin Free has many more products for people with sensitive skin or blemish problems. You should know that Skin Free products are formulated and designed by pharmacist, Julie Hilton, a sufferer from skin allergies and blemish problems. She created this line of products for people who needed a skin regimen without the harsh chemicals. Read the About Us page for more information!

I love these products so much I am considering becoming an Affiliate. You can become one, too! Just visit the Affiliate Information page. You can also find Skin Free Skin Care products online at walgreens.com, cvs.com and drugstore.com!
