Mixed Chicks Review and Giveaway

Mixed Chicks started off with the primary focus of  helping multi-cultural women, men, and children find solutions for hair that can sometimes be hard to manage. They have created a line of products that not only work great on curly and sometimes unruly hair but also work on all hair types and people of all races and cultures. Mixed Chicks is bringing their products to the world.

They recently added a new product, Spring Bands. These dent and tangle free hair bands are perfect for all hair types and will help make sure your hair is not being damaged by tearing and snagging caused by many hair bands. While these are especially nice for curly hair that tends to wrap around hair bands causing breakage, they also work wonders on my daughters super straight fine hair. She has long hair so you can imagine that her hair becomes tangled very easily. She is always wanting her hair up in a ponytail and I have had to cut off several hair bands in the past to remove them without causing damage to her hair. Mixed Chicks Spring Bands have been a hair saver. They do not pull, and slip on and off effortlessly. These are perfect for little girls and they come in five different colors, including pink, so your little girl will love them. They are sold in a set of 5 bands for only $3.00 and can be purchased online or in several retail stores. Check out their store locator here.

How would you like to win a gift package from Mixed Chicks? They have provided me with one Spring Bands 5 piece set in light yellow along with a Mixed Chicks trial & travel TRIO, and lip balm to give to one Girly Girl reader.

Toddy Gear Giveaway and Gift Idea

CLOSED
Winner #36

Toddy Gear originally started off with the idea of creating effective and stylish screen cleaners for all your gadgets, hence the Toddy Smart Cloth. Toddy Gear has since added other products to their line including;

The Pocket Toddy- Unique travel-sized, tech cleaning accessory delivers dirt-free and smudge-free electronic maintenance in a convenient form factor

Screensters- 100% microfiber, character-inspired line of cleaning dolls bring a hint of flair and personality to your mobile devices

Toddy Wedge- Hand-crafted stylish and essential companion for your electronics both cleans and holds your mobile device

These products are functional, fashionable and fun. I especially like the Toddy Wedge as it serves a dual purpose and I am all about products that simplify my life. Christmas is just around the corner and if you are planning on purchasing one of the latest tech devices for someone then why not throw a Toddy Wedge in as well.

I am very excited that Toddy Gear is allowing me to give away one of their Toddy Wedges to a Girly Girl reader. These will work with your iPad or other tablet, your reader, and pretty much all Smartphones. They come in a variety of styles so you can find the perfect fit for you. I happen to like the Go-Go Wedge.

güd Body Washes Review

I have mentioned in past posts that I love Burt's Bees products and I also love güd by Burt's Bees. A couple of months ago I was sent two güd body washes for review, one Red Ruby Groovy and one Vanilla Flame.

Red Ruby Groovy Body Wash is scented with grapefruit and wild thyme. It smells of sweet citrus with a little earthiness mixed in.

Vanilla Flame Body Wash is scented with vanilla and rice milk, it smells delicious!

I love how much these body washes lather and fill your bathroom with their intoxicating scents while you wash yourself squeaky clean. They contain no parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals and are never tested on animals. Burt's Bees is the best! These soaps are gentle on even my husband and daughters sensitive skins. My husband loves vanilla scented things so he really enjoyed Vanilla Flame. In fact I opened up both bottles in the shower so we would have a choice and the Vanilla was long gone before Red Ruby Groovy, which was my fave of the two. I will definitely be buying these again. I purchase my güd products at Target and so can you!

EO Hand Sanitizers Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Winners #14, 23

A few months ago I was introduced to EO Everyone brand of products by way of their Lotion and Soap. Recently they launched a new line of products to the brand, Everyone Hand Sanitizers, and I was given the opportunity to review these as well.

These new hand sanitizers come in gel and spray formulas and two scents, Peppermint + Citrus and Coconut + Lemon.

EO¹s products are made with all natural ingredients and are ideal for everyone in your family ‹ non-GMO ethanol to fight germs, and plant-based glycerin and jojoba oil to keep hands feeling moisturized, not sticky. Best of all, they are 99.9% effective at killing common germs!

These 2oz. spray and gel bottles can be purchased exclusively at Whole Foods Market. Their small size are perfect to carry in your purse, briefcase, or backpack. These do contain alcohol and I found that the smell is rather strong. I do get a hint of the citrus scent in both sanitizers but the alcohol is definitely there. Also while the sanitizer absorbs quickly be sure to remember that a little goes a long way. I think I over did it the first time and when I rubbed my eyes right after using the sanitizer it stung a bit. I myself prefer the gel over the spray since I think it is easier to apply. The spray might be good for spraying down your telephone at work or heavily used doorknobs among other inanimate objects.

HEALTHY INGREDIENTS, HEALTHY PRODUCTS
Every EO product is plant and essential oil based, made with only pure and organic ingredients paraben, disodium EDTA, sodium lauryl, phthalates, petrochemicals, artificial fragrance, chemical preservative, silicone, propopylene glycol, detergent, mineral oil, triclosan, EDTA, aluminum, sulfate, and Gluten-FREE; no animal testing is ever done, and every product is non-GMO verified.

I have two sets of hand sanitizers to give away to 2 girly girl readers. One of you will win a gel and spray sanitizer in Coconut + Lemon while another win a gel and spray sanitizer in the Peppermint + Citrus scent.

To Enter: Leave me a comment telling me which scent you would prefer. You can get extra entries for following GGG through GFC, Subscribing
via email, liking us on Facebook and following via Twitter.

This giveaway will end on November 7, 2013. I will choose the winner using Random.org. Please leave a valid email address if it is not visible in your profile. US entries only.
