Shower to Shower Review

Here in Alaska we don't get a lot of hot weather but this summer was the exception. It was pretty dry and hot for the area. Most of us here in Alaska are used to going from hot to cool weather so this product Shower to Shower was nice to have around.

A sprinkle a day helps keep odor away. And that's not the only benefit of
SHOWER to SHOWER®. Here are some more!

  • Your body perspires in more places than just under the arms. Use
SHOWER to SHOWER® to feel dry, fresh and comfortable throughout the day.
  • Pamper yourself with a soft touch and light fragrance.
  • No more stained clothes - powder provides invisible wetness protection.
  • With powder on, clothes glide on like a breeze and won't cling.

The company who sent the product to me was kind enough to send me full size bottles to try. This was a great opportunity for me to share the product with a few friends to see what they thought of the it.

Shower to Shower is a great product that has a lot of benefits. We all know that during the summer we sweat a lot more and need a little extra protection. Shower to Shower is great to keep blisters away from sandals or hiking shoes. Putting Shower to Shower on after getting wet a the beach helps the sand come right off so you don't bring it home with you. I know that I will be taking it with me to Mexico this winter when I go. So just because summer is over doesn't mean it still won't come in handy.

One of my friends that tried it took it to Florida with here on her vacation and it was great for the humid climate. She said it was nice to use in her. In her own words, "Shower to Shower kept my feet from blistering from all the walking around I did on my vacation and kept my body feeling fresh."

I had another friend who took it when she went to Japan. It happened to be very humid when she was there so it was a great product for her to have.

I have also been using it before my workouts. I get really sweaty at the gym since the type of gym I go to is a high intensity circuit training. Shower to Shower helps me feel dry and fresh and not all sweaty and gross. Of course I still sweat but with Shower to Shower I don't have to worry about the smell that comes with it. This is a great product to keep in your gym bag!

Halloween Adventure- Vampire Costume Review

Have your kiddos decided what they would like to dress up as for Halloween this year? My daughter Penelope has. Originally she wanted to be Bat Girl but when I was given the opportunity to review a costume from HalloweenAdventure.com she quickly changed her mind. She sat down with me in front of the computer and we looked through all the many costumes that are available on Halloween Adventures. They carry adult, children, and infant costumes and accessories in a variety of styles. Does your kiddo want to be his/her favorite cartoon character? Is your little girly girl dreaming of being a fairytale princess? Or perhaps like my daughter they want something a little more on the spooky side.

When my daughter saw this Vampiress Costume she immediately said "I want to be a vampire princess, I want this"! All thoughts of Bat Girl were quickly out the window. This particular costume includes the dress and choker with an attached collar. I like that it is simple enough that she can easily move around in it but it still has some nice detail. We can finish up her costume with some black shoes, white makeup, and long ringlets in her hair and she will look like she has been "living" in a Gothic castle for centuries. I will try to post a picture of her when she is all dressed up.

Their is still plenty of time to order your kids costume online and if you use the code NOW29 at checkout you will receive FREE shipping on all orders over $29.

Crabtree & Evelyn Conditioning Hand Washes Review

A few months back I was given the opportunity to review another of Crabtree & Evelyn's fab products, their Conditioning Hand Washes which were released earlier in the summer. I love their products and these hand washes totally met my expectations.

This collection of eight new hand washes come in a variety of delightful fragrances.

Citron, Honey & Coriander
Pomegranate, Argan & Grapeseed
Rosewater
Lavender
Lily
Iris
Wisteria
La Source

They are deigned to offer a gentle cleanse that conditions the skin as it washes. I received the Citron, Honey & Coriander for review which I was pretty excited about it because it was the one I would have chosen. It smells of citrus with some sweetness and a little herb-iness, exactly what you would expect from the name. It lathers up really nice and the scent fills the room each time you wash your hands, so good. It also leaves your hands feeling moisturized. Each hand wash is formulated without parabens, propylene glycol, phthalate or mineral oil. I also think the bottles are lovely and look great on a bathroom counter. The different colors that are available will add to the look of your room.

You can purchase these Conditioning Hand Washes online or check out their store locator to find a retail shop near you.

Supergoop! Review

It's fall and winter is just round the corner but that doesn't mean you can skimp on protecting your skin. Even though the clouds may be covering up the scorching sun you still need to worry about UVA's that cause skin aging and possibly skin cancer. Yes, even in the snow the sun's rays are reflected onto your skin. No worries though, Supergoop! has got your covered. They have a bunch of products to protect your skin all year around, lip balms and face creams to all over sunscreens in several different SPF's. They also have a sunscreen self-tanning cream so yes, even in the winter you can keep up your summer tan. All Supergoop! products are free of parabens, petrochemicals, and artificial fragrances.

I was sent two products for review, SPF 30+ Everyday UV Lotion for Face and Body and SPF 50 Sunscreen Day Cream.

The Promise

  • Protects from complete spectrum of UVA and UVB rays
  • Provides additional free radical protection triggered by sunlight, tobacco smoke, and smog
  • Delivers weightless, oil-free hydration
  • Withstands water for a full 80 minutes of active sun protection
  • TSA approved for carry-on air travel
  • Free of oxybenzone*, parabens, and fragrances
This is a great all around sunscreen for the entire family. It is safe for even the most sensitive skin. I love that it is light and goes on smooth and does not leave a sticky or white residue. I have been using it on my daughter almost everyday. She loves wearing dresses and it is still warm enough here to wear short sleeves so I make sure to protect any bare skin. This product is even safe to use on infants aged 4 months and up.

The Promise

  • Protects against broad-spectrum UVA, UVB, and IRA rays
  • The hypoallergenic, mineral-based SPF formula will not irritate even the most sensitive skin types
  • Provides anti-inflammatory benefits, reducing redness and irritation from Rosacea
  • Improves skin elasticity
  • Withstands water for a full 80 minutes of active sun protection
  • Free of oxybenzone*, parabens, and fragrances
This day cream is on the thicker side. It actually leaves a chalky residue on your face and it takes quite a lot of rubbing to get it to absorb into the skin. I think this is meant for extra protection if you are planning on being out in direct sun for a long period of time. I have used this cream a few times on my daughter when she has gone swimming. She has a fair complexion and this has done a great job of protecting her from sunburn.

All Supergoop! products can be purchased online as well as several retail stores.

Smarty Pants Review

You know when it comes to taking a daily vitamin I am really bad about it. I take it for a while and then when the bottle is gone its another few months before I buy one again. On the other hand I am very good about giving the kids their vitamins. Mostly because they are gummy vitamins and they wont let me forget. My 5 year old daughter says its because she needs her vitamins because they keep her healthy. We all know that's true but not why she wants them. They're fun and taste good, but why should the kids have all the fun.

Well Smarty Pants has come up with an adult vitamin that is good, it doesn't have that gross vitamin flavor and its easy to take. You get six vitamin gummies every day. I keep them for my little treat in the after noon. It's like having a pack of fruit snacks with out taking them away from the kids.

Plus look at all the good stuff that's in these little Smarty Pants:

Only Multivitamin + Omega 3s + Vitamin D gummy on the market!
Excellent Source of Omega 3 DHA+EPA* from eco friendly small fish oil225% of the US RDI for Vitamin D + includes 9 other nutrients
No High Fructose Corn Syrup, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
Gluten & casein free.
Made in California in a GMP-certified facility
