Regulat Review

Regulat is a whole food concentrate made from over 20 organically grown fruits, nuts and vegetables. It helps support our bodies immune system, providing enzymes that our needed for overall health and wellness. With all the over processing, food additives and questionable agricultural practices our food is losing much of its vital nutrients. Regulat contains whole food enzymes, proteins, carbohydrates, and fats that are easily absorbed by our body at the cellular level promoting overall health from the inside out.

Regulat also works as a detox to get rid of toxins in your body and neutralizing free radicals.
Some of the benefits of using Regulat include; better digestion, improved metabolism, stronger immune system, increased energy to name a few. You can find out more about the science behind Regulat and the benefits by visiting the Regulat website.

I was given a 12 day sample to review. While the suggested usage is for a 3 month period I did notice after just a couple of days that I had a lot more energy. In fact, I recommend not taking Regulat too late in the evening as I had a hard time falling asleep when I did. I just felt better overall while I was taking Regulat and it made me want keep using it. I am planning on purchasing some and using it regularly to improve my overall health.

OK now for the only negative I have about this product, the taste. The product is fermented so you can imagine it has a strong bitter sour taste to it. It was described to me like that of Kombucha. I was told I could mix the 2 teaspoons twice a day, that is the standard dosage, in a 1/2 cup of water or fruit juice. My first dose I tried in water, it did not help and I had a hard time drinking it without gagging. The second dose I decided to mix in fruit juice, which was equally bad. I finally decided to just take it quickly like a shot of alcohol. This worked for me. It was easy to swallow and I got very little of the fermented taste doing it this way. I also thought it was pretty funny to see my family give me weird looks when they saw me drinking out of a shot glass at 8 in the morning.

One 12 oz. bottle of Regulat costs $72.00 and can be purchased online.

eos Basket of Fruit Lip Balm Review

I know I have said this before but I will say it again, I love lip balm. I am one of those girls that is always rummaging through my bag to get my hands on some lip balm. What can I say I like having soft lips. Recently I was introduced to my newest lip balm love, Smooth Sphere lip balms by eos. Where have these been all my life? I was sent a limited edition 4-pack "Basket of Fruit" Smooth Sphere Lip Balm collection for review.

Aside from these little balls of lip balm being so adorable they work amazing and come in delicious flavors like Fresh Watermelon and Strawberry Sorbet. They are 100% natural, enriched with shea butter and jojoba oil and leave your lips feeling super smooth. They are also the perfect size to throw into your purse. Since I received a 4-pack for review I had to share the love. I gave one to my daughter, one to my sister, and one to my mom and they all have become new Smooth Sphere fans. Stars like Cher Lloyd and Miley Ray Cyrus are also puckering up to these lip balms.

So where can you get some? Head on over to your local Target store or visit evolutionofsmooth.com to purchase online. The limited edition Basket of Fruit 4 pack will only be available until October 2013 so hurry.

It is a 3 in 1 lotion- light enough for your face and hydrating and moisturizing enough for your hands and body. It is pure and natural so even the most sensitive of skins can use this. Both my husband and daughter have sensitive skin and they have been using this stuff with no problem. We all love the light lavender scent. Everyone Soap also comes in a 32 oz. bottle and because it is a 3 in 1 product shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath there is no need for extra bottles crowding up your shower. Gift for Him- Nautica Aqua Rush Gold

OK so I admit, I had planned to have this review posted as a Fathers Day gift idea but with our recent move and trying to catch up on posts, I failed. No worries though, there's always a birthday or why not surprise your guy with a gift just because.

Nautica Aqua Rush Gold celebrates the strength and masculinity of the active man with notes that include a fresh burst of Lime, Pitanga and Seaweed Accord. These top notes combine with Pink Peppercorn, Waterlily and Jasmine Flower which dries to a blend of Vetiver, Amber and Sandalwood.

My husband Chris is big on cologne, he loves to smell nice and I have to say I love it too. He actually owns a lot more scents then I do, in fact I have never really been big on perfumes but since being with him I actually have several to choose from and even wear them occasionally! He already had Nautica Aqua Rush on our bathroom counter so when I saw this Nautica Aqua Rush Gold I knew he would be dying to try it. He loves the fresh clean scent. It is now in his regular rotation of colognes he wears. That's right the man has several that he rotates between! I also love the smell, it is manly without being overpowering. Nautica Aqua Rush Gold is available at Macy’s and other fine retailers nationwide. Price: $65 for 3.4 fl. oz.

How to Keep Those Summer Legs with c.Booth and Schick

Here are 3 easy steps to help keep your legs short skirt ready all year around!

  • Scrub away that dull dead skin. Get your legs super soft with c.Booth's Ginger Sugar Body Scrub.
This sweet and spicy body scrub exfoliates dead skin leaving behind super soft and glowing skin. It will also moisturize those legs with the help of Shea and Cocoa butters. Use it in the shower, just be careful to rinse the shower as it tends to leave it a bit slippery. This stuff smells good enough to eat! Sells at Ulta for $6.49 .

  • Smooth legs and keep them hair free. Get you legs smooth as satin with Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment.

This 4 head refillable razor minimizes nicks and cuts with a pivoting head that contours to the shape of your legs and makes it easy to get a smooth flawless shave. Enriched with Coconut Milk and Almond Oil this razor moisturizes as it shaves. I love it! There is no need to use shaving lotion or soap while shaving your legs and it is so very comfortable to hold. This is also available in three other varieties; Renewing Moisture w/ Pomegranate Extract, Tropical Splash, and Natural Sensitive Care. Sells for $5.97 at Walmart.
  • Finish up with some extra moisture. Using c.Booth's 4-in-1 Multi-Action Coconut Fig Body Lotion.
This lotion exfoliates, hydrates, nourishes, and firms your skin in one step. Massage into your legs for that final touch. You can also use this lotion all of your body which is what I have been doing. I love how it leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturized without feeling greasy. This lotion contains caffeine to help firm and tone skin while leaving it feeling revitalized. This large 32 oz. bottle sells for $9.99 at Ulta.

Arbonne Product Review

Arbonne creates personal care and wellness products that contain natural botanical ingredients that are scientifically proven. Their products can be purchased online or through their network of independent consultants. Their inventory includes skin care items, bath & body products, hair care, makeup, fragrances, and nutritional supplements. Arbonne is constantly adding premium products to their inventory. Recently these additions included 11 new items and I was given the opportunity to review two of these.

It's a Long Story Mascara $36
  • Exclusively designed with revolutionary polypeptides to promote the appearance of longer lashes.
  • Bamboo and pea extracts and pro-vitamins B5, C and E pamper and nurture for a lavish, high-gloss look.
  • Vegan formula
  • Dermatologist, ophthalmologist and clinically tested.
What can I say about this mascara other then I love it! I love how smooth application is, the soft bristled brush coats every lash and does not clump up. It makes your lashes appear longer and thicker. I wear mascara just about everyday so I have tried many, this one is on the top of my favorites list as of yet.

Essentials Spray Vitamin D + B12 $40
  • Delivers essential levels of Vitamins D and B12.
  • Formulated to help counter vitamin D deficiencies that may come from simple actions such as an inadequate diet, wearing sunscreen regularly or not getting enough sunlight.
  • Also formulated to help with vitamin B12 deficiencies that may come from maintaining a vegetarian diet.
  • Just 3 sprays twice a day supports good health.
This is a product that would have really come in handy before we moved out of Alaska. Vitamin D is known as the "sunshine vitamin" being exposed to sunlight results in your body creating this essential vitamin that plays an important role in supporting immune health and healthy bones and teeth. Amazing! In case you didn't know Alaskans don't get their fair share of sunlight. Vegetarians and those with darker complexions are also prone to having lower levels of Vitamin D. What about Vitamin B12? Vitamin B12 supports a number of body functions like metabolism, nervous system, cell division, and red blood cell formation. Found in various types of meats and in some plants and vegetables but in lower amounts. Some vegetarians or those that do not eat a healthy well balanced diet can be prone to Vitamin B12 deficiency. This spray is formulated to give your the body the adequate amounts of both of these vitamins it needs on a daily basis. It is very easy to use, you just spray the vitamins in your mouth twice daily. No worries though, this does not have a weird mineral taste, it's actually a  bit sweet with the help of natural stevia leaf extract and a little Tropical Splash flavor. For all my Alaskan friends, this is worth giving a shot!
