Novica's Gift Finder & Giveaway

CLOSED
Winner# 28 bayctygrl

It's been awhile but I previously posted a review on Novica and their abundance of products. Novica carries truly unique items that are crafted by artisans all over the globe. Everything from jewelery to home decor. I really enjoy browsing all the art and reading about the artist behind the work. From the Andes, to West Africa, to Thailand it's like traveling the world and visiting local markets from the comfort of your home.

With Christmas just a couple weeks away why not look through Novica's extensive inventory to find the perfect gift for your friend or relative. With their new Gift Finder it is that much easier to find something that they are sure to love.  For instance looking for something for an animal lover? Let Novica narrow down there Gifts for Animal Lovers. I really like this Onyx Statuette Midnight Owl.

How about finding something special for the chef in your life? I really like this set of Cypress Wood Chopping Boards.

In addition to being able to search by personality, you can also narrow down your search by recipient, category, interest, price, and region. So go feast your eyes on all the lovely creations Novica has to offer.

Red Envelope Review

Christmas is only a few short weeks away, have you gotten all your Christmas shopping done? Why not take a look at Red Envelope? They have some really nice and unique gifts in several price ranges and for every personality. Need a gift for someone who loves to cook? How about a new mom? When I was asked if I would like to review their shopping site and their products I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never shopped Red Envelope before. Let me tell you I was very impressed with the large selection and quality of products they carry. I found so many things I wanted and some really nice items that would make great gifts. I love how their inventory is neatly organized into categories making it easy to find what you are looking for. You can search by occasion, interest, gifts for him or her, and more. Some of the products I liked were this Culinary Herb Growing Kit.

I think it would look great sitting on my kitchen window sill. Another product I really liked was this Deluxe Sculpted Jewelry Tree.

My sister would absolutely love this!

Red Envelope provided me with a gift code to purchase something on their site and share my shopping experience with all of you. I decided I would purchase something to give and something to keep. After spending an hour or so going through everything available I decided I would go green and purchase a couple of plants. The first one was this Juniper Bonsai for my husband. He has been wanting a bonsai tree for several years now and I thought he would be happy to see it on his new roll top desk.

The second thing I purchased was this Braided Money Tree for myself. I thought it was pretty and would also look great on my kitchen window sill.

I was very thrilled with how quickly my items were shipped to me. After only a few days FedEx was knocking at my door with my packages. The items I received were exactly as expected and the only thing that would make me happier is if my money tree would actually sprout some money. I can't wait for my husband to get home and see his Bonsai I know he is going to love it as well.

Still trying to find that perfect gift then go check out Red Envelope you won't be disappointed.

Big Fish Unlimited Review

Remember my Big Fish review that I posted a while back? Well, I recently learned about Big Fish Unlimited and was pretty excited. If you love playing video games like I do then you may be wondering what is Big Fish Unlimited? It's a new cloud gaming app that allows you to stream over 100 games to your PC or Android for one low monthly cost. For just $7.99 a month you can play all the fun games Big Fish Unlimited has to offer. Yes! I love Big Fish games especially their puzzle & hidden objects games. I have played a bunch of them. Penelope enjoys playing them with me and we recently finished playing Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel via Big Fish Unlimited. It is a fun hidden objects game filled with puzzles and an intriguing storyline. I love games that you can get lost in and we did...for hours. Big Fish has so many categories of games to choose from; strategy games, arcade games, card & board games, and more. You won't be disappointed. You also don't have to worry about ads popping up in the middle of your game. They are ad free! I only wish that it was available on my iPad. Also I learned this the hard way but Big Fish Unlimited only works in HTML5-compatible browsers so Chrome, Firefox, or upgrade to Internet Explorer 9. Big Fish Unlimited is currently offering a FREE 7 day trial membership to check them out. You don't even have to give them your credit card info for the free trial. Score!

Go check out Big Fish Unlimited now and let me know which game I should try next!

Age Defense Antioxidant Serum C Review

Rx Systems PF is a complete line of face and body products that are pH balanced and designed to bring out the most from your skin. Whether you are concerned about fine lines & wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, dry skin, acne or oiliness Rx Systems PF has something for you.

I was sent their Age Defense Antioxidant Serum C for review. This serum is designed to protect against damage to the skin caused by UV rays. Designed for all skin types this serum prevents premature signs of aging, lightens and brightens skin tone, and helps skin to heal. This serum is meant to be used in the evenings after cleansing and before applying moisturizer. It can be applied to face, neck and chest.

I know I have mentioned this in past posts but I am big on smells. If something smells off or bad I have a hard time overlooking this. The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell, but it was not bad. This may sound a little silly but this product smelled like my favorite dessert Creme Brulee to me. You know that burnt sugar smell? I want to eat it up everytime I apply it! It's also about the same color. I know the smell has nothing to do with how the product works but I have tried facial products in the past that smelled chemical-y and had a hard time using them. I actually enjoy applying this serum on my face! The first couple of times I used this I noticed a slight tingling sensation and a little itchiness but I was assured by the company that this was normal. I believe it is caused by the high concentration of Vitamin C in it because I have used Vitamin C capsules on my skin in the past and have gotten the same sensation.  After a couple of times the sensation ceased. The serum goes on very smooth and does not leave a oily feeling to your skin which I am always concerned about since I tend to have skin that is more on the oily side.  It is very lightweight and absorbs quickly. I think I have noticed a difference in my skin tone since I started using this. It seems brighter and I did have my husband tell me a couple of times that my skin looked really good and this was with no makeup!

You can purchase Age Defense Antioxidant Serum C online for $79.90 along with other Rx Systems PF products.
