I am a big tea drinker, I love a tall glass of iced tea, and I love a cup of hot soothing tea. In fact besides water tea is pretty much the only other beverage I drink on a regular basis.

I was given a box of Good Earth's signature blend, Sweet & Spicy tea to review and I was so excited I immediately turned on my kettle and prepared my mug for the experience. First of all the smell is wonderful I actually inhaled the scent a few times and I knew I was going to love this stuff. This tea was just what I expected a combination of black tea and spice coming from cinnamon, anise, ginger root and peppermint and a hint of sweetness from the orange, chamomile, and papaya leaves and just a wee bit of tang from the lemongrass. It was very good, so good in fact that I had to share some of the tea bags with friends and family. I also tried a cup with a little milk and honey for a little more sweetness since this tea does not contain any sugar and enjoyed it that way as well. It almost tasted like Chai tea this way.

Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil Review

I was given the opportunity to review celebrity makeup artist Sue Devitt's Eye Intensifier Pencil. The Eye Intensifier Pencil comes in 13 different shades and is water resistant. This eyeliner pencil has a velvety texture that glides on easily and smoothly. I am a big fan of black eye liner and I really love the way this pencil helps me create the perfect lined eye. The opposite end of the pencil is an applicator tip that is suppose to help you get that smoky eye look by blending the liner. Maybe I am just bad at applying makeup because I had a hard time using the applicator to blend the eyeliner. It would just rub off kinda like an eraser. I love the pencil and how simple it is to create that perfect lined eye that doesn't crease or wear off, but I have been ignoring the applicator tip. Maybe I should have our resident makeup artist Loli test it out for me! This eyeliner pencil also contains anti-aging ingredients that help lock in moisture and is gentle on the delicate skin around your eyes.

The two shades I chose to review were St. Tropez (a sheer shimmering bronze nude) and St. Barths (a sheer coral red). I was very impressed with these lip sheers. As the name implies they leave a sheer tint of color to your lips. The color is very noticeable but not over done so you can wear these anywhere without ever looking or feeling like your overly made up. They leave a touch of gloss to your lips and a are very moisturizing. I love that they have added SPF as I never think about protecting my lips when I leave the house but I realize it is important. These have replaced my former lipsticks in my purse so I always have them on me and can touch up anytime I need. I have been alternating between the two colors because they are both great. If you are looking for a nice sheer lip color with a lot of shimmer then these are perfect. You can purchase them online.

The Rebound

Want to cuddle up this winter with a captivating comedy, and learn that age is just a number. The Rebound stars Academy Award®-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones*, one of my favorite actresses, and oh so hunky Justin Bartha. Together they show us it's never too late for love! 

Upon discovering her husband’s infidelity, Sandy (Zeta-Jones) and her two kids move from the suburbs to pursue a new life in the big city. There she meets Aram (Bartha), a local coffee shop employee whose wife only married him as a means to getting her green card. The two strike up a friendship which eventually evolves into something more. But it isn’t long before they’re faced with the big question - “Is this real or just a rebound?"

My husband and I both enjoyed this movie. It was a great movie to snuggle up to with some popcorn and a glass of wine, after the kids were put to bed of course! The nice part about this movie is it isn't your typical romantic comedy, it had a few surprising twists to it. I recommend this movie for your next date night!

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's the Rebound is out on Blu-ray and DVD now!
