I am very concerned about what products I use in my home. Especially now that I have children. My daughter is almost four now and my son is one. I had a opportunity to try two of eco STORE USA products for the first time a few months ago and I was impress with the information they provide and the ingredients of the product. I tried the All Purpose Cleaner which is a natural cleaner with a zest of citrus you can use virtually anywhere in your house. I have been using it on my kitchen and bathroom countertops, stove tops, cabinets and floors. It has a nice citrus smell and I feel good using it know that it doesn't have any harsh chemicals that are going to hurt my family.

Not only do they have house hold cleaners but they also have Bath and Body products. I tried the Orange and Patchouli Baby Wash. It has a mix of organic essential oils that give it a fresh smell while also moisturizing. I really enjoyed the aroma of this body wash, it makes me feel like I'm at a spa. Even better it doesn't dry out my skin which is a big plus because most body washes with a scent do. I highly recommend this wash for anyone. Plus it makes me feel good to know it's a natural product. Also unlike many brands, ecoSTORE USA body care products do not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, artificial dyes, perfumes or preservatives which means they are extremely kind to sensitive skin.

I tend to have oily skin and I was pleased to find that these products do not exacerbate this problem. Both products go on smooth and are not greasy at all. They absorb into the skin quickly leaving it feeling smooth. As a matter of fact I have noticed that when I wake up in the morning my skin is still feeling super soft to the touch. While I currently do not have a product with wrinkles on my skin I am hoping that using these products now will help slow them from appearing too soon. These products are also suppose to help minimize pores on your skin which is something I can use. I have been using these products for a couple of weeks now and I do see and feel a difference in the texture of my skin. I think if you are worried about fine lines and wrinkles you should give the Algenist line of anti-aging products a try.

I have very fine, flat lifeless hair and I am always looking for products that promise to give my hair body and make it look fuller. I was recently given the opportunity to try some products from Samy's Fat Hair "0" Calories line of products and was very excited to try them out. 

Fat Hair Amplifying Hairspray

The first thing I noticed about this hairspray was the smell. I am a sucker for nice scents and unfortunately this hairspray lacks that. I was very disappointed because I expected a salon store product to smell great, this stuff smelled like, well hairspray, and not in a good way. Fortunately the smell doesn't linger and once I got over the initial disappointment and tried the stuff out I thought it was a nice product. It holds without making your hair feel hard and crunchy, no one likes crunchy hair. This hairspray is not meant for stiff holds but is more of a finishing spray. It keeps the flyaways at bay and your hair style in place but your hair still has movement and body. $11.99

Fat Hair Thickening Spray
This ultra lightweight thickening spray transforms fine, limp hair into thicker, fuller stronger hair. Specially formulated not to weigh hair down. First of all I am happy to say this product actually has a very pleasant smell. It is light and fresh and when used on dry hair it actually lingers for awhile. I was a little afraid that this would make my hair oily and even more dull and flat and I have to admit when I used it on dry hair it really didn't do much to it. However, I now use this product on wet hair after showering and then blowdry and style my hair as usual and I have noticed it really does give my hair that extra boost it desperately needs. Nothing dramatic but I do find that on the days I remember to use this thickening spray my hair has a little more life to it. This product is also very reasonably priced for what it is. $6.99

This product smells very similar to the Thickening Spray, in fact it's actually a very similar product in use and results as well. Because it is a cream base I expected it to leave my hair a greasy mess but again I was wrong. I use this on wet hair before blowdrying as well and have pretty much gotten the same results as the Thickening Spray. Honestly I am not quite sure what the difference is besides maybe some people prefer sprays over creams. This is also reasonably priced at $6.99

All in all I thought the three products from Samy's Fair Hair "0" Calories product line were nice salon quality products. You can purchase these Samy products and more online or in several stores nationwide.

Gorton's Seafood Review and Giveaway

Growing up my Mom worked a lot and my Dad ended up cooking for us most of the time.  I loved it when he would make fish sticks, they always tasted really good.  As an adult I have not been a big fan of fish sticks. I have bought them a few times for the kids and I have been really disappointed. So when Gorton's gave me the chance to try their large variety of frozen seafood's I knew fish sticks would be number one on my list.

According to the Dietary Guidelines we should be getting 2 servings of fish a week. For people like me who live in Alaska that's not very hard but where I grew up in Idaho seafood was quite the luxury. With Gorton's selection of fish you can get your fish and not get tired of the same thing all the time. They have a several products to choose from that are quick and easy to make.

So like I said to start off  I bought the Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks. I wanted to see if they tasted like I remember fish sticks tasting, and I am pleasantly surprised to say "yes they did". These were really good and even better,  my daughter and husband liked them too! What an easy meal, fish sticks with a side of homemade french fries!

Second I tried the Beer Battered Shrimp. This was a great little appetizer to have on hand. I was making dinner for some friends one night and it was running a little late. I popped these into the oven and made a little cocktail sauce and they were a hit with everyone. These are great to have on hand for a last minute meal or snack!

The third Gorton's product I tried was my favorite. The Potato Crunch fillet was really good paired with a side dish and it was also great in a wrap. I got the idea from Gorton's website they put the Potato Crunch Fillet in a wrap with lettuce, tomato, cheese and a little ranch dressing it was quite good.
