Neutrogena Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Congratulations! Winner  #41 kellyr78

Most of you are probably pretty familiar with the Neutrogena brand and have probably tried at least one of their products. They are a leading skincare brand that offer a wide range of products, everything from face cleansers to haircare to cosmetics. I am very familiar with the Neutrogena brand and have tried and regularly use several of their products so I was excited to get the opportunity to review three new products that just became available this month.

NEUTROGENA HEALTHY SKIN® COMPACT FOUNDATION SPF 55 WITH HELIOPLEX® The Only Compact Foundation to Offer Superior SPF Helioplex® Technology While Providing an Even-Toned, Flawless Complexion
A cream foundation that improves skin’s overall radiance, texture and moisture and provides the highest level of broad spectrum UVA-UVB protection, SPF 55, available in a foundation.

This is a great compact foundation and I love that it has such a high SPF. It goes on smoothly and feels weightless and covers without looking caked on or leaving a greasy feeling. I normally use a different brand of compact foundation that is a bit higher priced and does not offer the SPF that this one does. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Compact Foundation works just as well and with the added skin protection and much more reasonable price of $12.99 I think it's time to reconsider my choice of makeup.

NEUTROGENA HEALTHY SKIN® CUSTOM GLOW™BRONZER
Provides a Radiant Sun-Kissed Look without the Sun’s Harmful Rays

A dual bronzer palette with a triple anti-oxidant complex that helps enhance the skin’s healthy look over time.
Enabling custom-blending for a radiant look, Neutrogena Healthy Skin® Custom Glow™ Bronzer is a lightweight pressed powder compact that allows skin to “breathe” without experiencing a heavy, cakey finish on one’s skin.

I am not usually one to wear bronzer so I wasn't sure how I would like this product. This also has a very lightweight texture and feels really soft going on. It really does give a nice brightness and color to your skin and I was impressed. I don't  know that I will be wearing bronzer everyday but if bronzer is your thing this one is one to try. It also retails at $12.99.

NEUTROGENA® REVITALIZING LIP BALM SPF 20
Sheer Lip Balm Clinically Proven to Restore Lip’s Definition and Rosiness in Just One Week

Understanding that women want soft, luxurious lips that last well after application of a product, Neutrogena Cosmetics developed the Revitalizing Lip Balm to provide lips with instant beauty and long-term benefits. Made up of essential ion-mineral conductors, the ion2complex works in tandem with the product’s existing moisturizers to create a positive electric micro-current – instantly giving lips a fuller, more defined look.

This is by far my favorite of the new Neutrogena products. Living in Alaska, my lips have a tendency of being dry. Not only does this lip balm feel silky going on but my lips feel amazingly soft even after taking it off. I love this stuff! It gives a nice tint to your lips without the heavy feeling of lipstick. And of course the added sun protection is always a plus. This is definitely worth the $8.99 retail price.

All three of these new products from Neutrogena can be found nationwide at food, drug and mass merchandisers. In addition you can purchase them online. Neutrogena's online store is also a great place to shop for items that stores in your area no longer carry.  Don't forget to like Neutrogena on Facebook to stay informed on new products and promotions.

Want to win all three of these products? One of you will get a chance thanks to the people with Neutrogena.

Vedette Shapewear Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Congratulations! Winners  #10 rubynreba, #14 msilba, #35 Cathy W

Ever wonder how those Hollywood stars look absolutely perfect in those form fitting clothes? My guess is they are wearing some sort of shapewear underneath.  Vedette has been designing  women's shapewear for over 30 years. Their line of shapewear includes body shapers, waist cinchers, derriere enhancers, compression garments and post surgery girdles, with sizes and styles to fit every woman's need. In fact Vedette Shapewear has made shopping online a breeze with their Problem Area drop down menu. Do your thighs need a little slimming or does your bottom need some lifting, no problem. You can also find the right product for you based on compression type, category, size, and color. Many of the styles that Vedette carries also double as sexy lingerie.
I choose the Juliane waist cincher in black to review and I was very impressed by it. It is a corset style waist cincher with a double hook and eye front closure. I love that it closes in the front rather then the back, this makes it much easier to put on and remove without any help. It slims your tummy and waist giving you that hour glass figure and is actually a lot more comfortable then I expected it to be. Sizing runs small so I would get out your measuring tape and check Vedette's size guide before making a purchase. I think what I like about this particular shapewear product the most is that it is very attractive. I especially like the lace finish along the front. This is not your mama's girdle! Put on a satin bra and panties to match and you've got some sexy lingerie your husband will love. Va-Va-Voom!

If you are looking for high quality shapewear to enhance or camouflage check out the Vedette Shapwear collection.  Be sure to like Vedette on Facebook and follow on Twitter to stay informed on new products and promotions.

Want to look and feel sexy? The generous people with Vedette Shapewear are giving 3 Girly Girls the chance to win one of their products. Winner's will get to choose from the following three styles: Bianca, Madeleine, and the Jaqui  in the winner's size and color choice.

To Enter: Leave me a comment telling me which style you would choose. You can also get extra entries for following us through GFC, Subscribing via email, liking us on Facebook and following via Twitter.

This giveaway will end on March 28, 2011. I will choose the winner using Random.org. Please leave a valid email address if it is not visible in your profile. US entries only.

Lucky Puppy Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Congratulations! Winner  #52 Mandy

Lucky Puppy is a brand of clothing with dog lovers in mind. Their clothing line consists of adorable onsies, shirts, dresses, outerwear, and hats for children as well as shirts and hats for adults. The tag line "Nothing But Cute" really is the best way to describe the logos and designs printed on each item. Here are just a few examples:

Even though the adorable prints are reason enough to buy Lucky Puppy products there is also another reason. Lucky Puppy is helping to rescue homeless dogs with each online purchase. They have partnered with various animal foundations in the past to help match stray dogs with loving families. Currently they are helping out  Animal Haven a shelter in NYC by donating 15% of their online sales. "Animal Haven recently launched it's Caring Kids program which introduces children and teens to basic animal care and informs them about existing issues in animal welfare."

The generous people at Lucky Puppy sent me this darling Heart Paw t-shirt in Penelope's size to review.
Penelope loves doggy's and as soon as she saw this shirt asked if she could wear it. The shirt is made of 100% combed cotton and is super soft. Penelope added a couple of "ooohs and aaahs" and said she liked her "comfy pink and purple doggy foot shirt".

If your a dog lover or just love cute clothes be sure to check out the rest of the Lucky Puppy collection. You can also like them on Facebook to receive exclusive deals and stay informed with their latest news.

Would you like to win a Lucky Puppy t-shirt?
