I love socks! Seriously whenever I get asked what I would like as a gift the one thing I always mention is socks. I love colorful socks, socks with prints, knee high socks, slipper socks you name it, and of course because I live in Alaska I love warm cozy socks. I think I might have a slight sock addiction, so when I was given the opportunity to review Socks4Life how could I not. I was literally holding them over my nose and breathing in the scent, they helped relieve my stuffy nose and were so refreshing. Now I know why my little girl likes her Boogie Wipes so much. If only Achooz came in grape scent also... The one thing that I felt was a bummer about these was that they only come in a 15pk. I would love to have a baby wipe sized tub of these around at all times since I am also allergic to my cat.

Temporary Good-Bye

This is Joy and I wanted to let you all know (if you haven't heard already) that I have relinquished ownership of Girly Girl Giveaways to my dear friend, Monica. She is now in charge (and you better all behave!). While I will be around and post from time-to-time I have found that this blog is like a full-time job and I don't have full-time hours to devote to it. I had to find something to cut out of my schedule and simplify my life. I'm glad to have found someone like Monica who shares my passion for GGG and is devoted to bringing you awesome reviews and giveaways.

Cradle Joy

Cradle Joy is an online store featuring products that are perfect for moms-to-be, new moms and their babies! They cover you from maternity to post partum. Being pregnant myself and having three other little girls at home I was really excited to choose a product to review that I could use right away. I scoured the site and I ended up feeling like the website is very well organized and easy-to-navigate. This is important to me because I get easily overwhelmed by stores and online shops that are crowded and have way too many products.

While I was shopping a little screen popped up and an online assistant asked if they could help me with anything today. It was like a personal shopper! I ended up telling them 'no thanks' so I could browse and they just said to click on the "May I Help You" button for any assistance. I LOVED that!

I ended up choosing a Noodle & Boo shampoo. I am constantly looking for shampoos and lotions for my daughters. We used the shampoo as soon as it arrived. First of all it smelled amazing. That was what I first noticed. It smells similar to baby powder but lovlier. I personally love the baby powder scent; that is just how babies smell to me. It lathered up really nice without getting too sudsy (more suds means more chemicals usually). And it washed out very clean.

The next part was seeing how easy it was to brush hair and check out the softness after they dried. My toddler's hair dried the fastest, within 20 minutes of the bath. Brushing was a breeze; the smell was absolutely delicious even after rinsing. And my toddler's hair was the shiniest I have seen it and it was so soft. It literally looked and felt like spun silk (she has blonde hair with a bit of red). Likewise my older girls hair has probably not looked this good since they were fresh from the womb. I can't get over the scent either (can you tell)!
