Wall Quotes is a company that creates vinyl wall art and also does custom vinyl lettering if you have something more specific in mind for your home or business. I almost chose this fun laundry room wall art:

Instead we chose Modern Floral #1 in the color Persimmon. So pretty! I love bold colors and my house has nary a beige wall. Though if I did have a beige wall some black vinyl wall sayings would look so snazzy!

Here is the wall space before we applied the vinyl art work. We chose to put it above the entryway that separates dining room from family room.

It took us under 8 minutes from start to finish to apply our artwork. They sent an application tool but I think one of my kids ran off with it so I had no idea where it was when we started. And voila! The finished product:

We have a very wide entryway and this artwork was just the perfect size! It went up very quickly and it was a cinch to put up! It looks like someone hand-painted a mural on our wall but without the mess, time and money a mural would require.

Wall Quotes also boasts $5 flat rate shipping to the USA and Canada! I also love that they show a color legend so that you can see what shade you are choosing (computer screens vary and therefore colors may vary on each persons' screen).  Other sites do not have the color legend and instead just list the colors.

Supermarket Smarty

I have a really hard time compiling shopping lists and doing meal plans for our household. I used to be incredibly organized.......... before I had kids! Then things kind of got a little messy and my poor brain has a hard time keeping up or remembering things that I need to get or things I need to do. And then I found Supermarket Smarty.

This is just too cool. The Supermarket Smarty is a dry-erase shopping list so it is reusable. Can we say eco-friendly and green?! No wasting paper every week! Not only that but everything is divided into categories, fruits & vegetables are color-coded so you can get a variety of color in your diet and the best part is that it helps you find healthy foods as opposed to reaching for highly processed junk. My friend, put the Hamburger Helper BACK and get yourself some healthier alternatives!

The Supermarket Smarty Shopping List also folds up neatly so it can fit in your purse or diaper bag. There's a magnifying glass on it so you can easily read small print on packages, a place to write down notes and it has a pocket for coupons. I am incredibly impressed with this product. They have thought of everything! 

My list!

So how have I done with the Supermarket Smarty? I gleefully marked everything we needed to get at the grocery store (see above). It helped me to make a smarter decision about what to get, such as buying lean meats and whole grains. They also marked which fruits and vegetables are better to get as organic because even washing them doesn't remove the pesticides and chemicals!

It basically made a huge ordeal quick and easy. There was no digging through my purse for that elusive list I had mindlessly scribbled down from memory and of course can't find. There's no running from one end of the store to the other at the end of my trip because I forgot something. There's also no forgetting those ingredients I just have to have to complete a meal and get home only to realize I forgot. The Supermarket Smarty is your new best shopping friend!

The Supermarket Smarty folded out nicely and I set it right on the grocery cart. I was better able to visualize my meals for the week and we have been eating more homemade meals now than ever before! I hate processed foods and I often walk out of the store with hardly anything because I just get overwhelmed. Now I am able to complete my shopping, get wholesome foods and create healthy meals for my family. It's a win-win for everybody!

I have had the enormous pleasure of getting to know Amanda at AJ's Designs recently! This professional jewelry artist and designer has been incredibly communicative with me and just a fun person to talk to! Plus she makes some of the most beautiful jewelry ever!

AJ's Designs sent me a beautiful pair of earrings as a surprise. I had no idea what was coming, what colors or if they'd be dangly, chandelier, simple, elegant, whatever. So when these turquoise and brown beauties arrived I was super excited because they are exactly my style! In fact I wore them yesterday while out running errands.
