Did you know that a single toothbrush can harbor millions of microorganisms which translate into harmful bacteria, bacteria that thrive in the warm, moist environment of the average bathroom. So how many germs are living on your toothbrush? Pretty icky when you think about it right? Prior to learning about Violight my family's toothbrushes were stored in your typical toothbrush holder that most family's have in their bathroom. You know the ones with little holes on top for you to insert your toothbrush inside. I don't know why I would think this would keep our toothbrushes clean I mean  after all your brush is still exposed to everything and the insides of those containers collect moisture and who knows what else. Tell me that doesn't sound like an ideal place for germs to multiply and thrive.
I was very excited when I received my Violight Countertop Toothbrush Sanitizer.

Violight UV Toothbrush Sanitizers work by using a Germicidal Ultraviolet light that physically destroys the DNA of microorganisms. Violight prevents cross contamination of bacteria from one toothbrush to another, and even accommodates electric toothbrush heads. The countertop toothbrush sanitizer that I received for review holds up to 4 toothbrushes and it is very easy to use. With just a push of a button the translucent cover illuminates letting you know it is working. It also contains a removal drip cup for easy cleaning. I love our Violight! It feels great to know that this product actually gets rid of up to 99.9% of bacteria living on your toothbrush.
