FlipaZoo Review and Giveaway

Winner #86

I have a a new product to share with you that your littles are going to go crazy over.

No, that's not two different adorably cute stuffies you see there, it's one adorably cute stuffy that turns into two! "Flip, FlipaZoooo, the toy that flips for yooou."

That's right, you have probably heard your kiddos singing along to the catchy tune from the FlipaZoo commercial. I know Penelope knew what these were way before I had any clue. In fact when I was sent a FlipaZoo for review, well Penelope was beyond excited to show me what all the fuss was about.

FlipaZoo's are a brand new 2-in-1 pillow/stuffed toys that were just released this month in Walmart stores nationwide. What makes these cuties so special is with a simple flip they can  transform from one huggable creature into another. The pretty pink Cat flips into a furry Mouse, the friendly Dragon flips into a magical Unicorn. There is also Husky/Polar Bear, Elephant/Tiger, Giraffe/Hippo and Hedgehog/Turtle! Each FlipaZoo features its own unique sewn on name. My daughter loves her Sawyer Mouse and Caleb Cat.

These retail for $19.99 and besides being a fun toy to play with, they make the perfect cute and cuddly pillow friend. Great for sleepovers, naptime, traveling in the car, or whenever your child feels the need to snuggle. Starting mid-August FlipaZoo's  will be arriving at other retail stores coast-to-coast, including Target, Toys "R" Us, Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kmart and more.

You can also purchase a FlipaZoo online . They have a special promotion right now, if you purchase a FlipaZoo you will get a bonus Little FlipZee absolutely free! Plus all orders over $40 include FREE shipping.

Mastey Hair Collection Review

Mastey is a line of eco-friendly, organic and 100% vegan, haircare products designed to to keep your hair healthy and beautifully styled.

Their newest color protection line contains ingredients to not only repair damaged hair, but also add body and keep your hair color vibrant.

Argan Oil helps to soothe damaged hair while protecting it from heat from your styling tools.

Olive Oil helps to soften dry and damaged hair while providing a natural shine.

Antioxidant Grapeseed Extract prevent shair color from fading so your color last longer and looks great.

Rice Amino Acids are proteins that help rebuild, repair and nourish hair that has been damaged by hair coloring and lightening.

The line consists of 11 hair products which include:

Shampoo
Daily Conditioner
Restorative Mask
Therapy Spray
Oil Treatment
Finishing Spray
Beach Spray
Styling Gel
Volumizing Foam
Defining Cream
Dry Wax

I was sent four products from this wonderful line to review.

The Color Protecting Shampoo is lightweight and gentle enough to also be used as a facial cleanser or body wash. I would definitely save this stuff for your hair though. It works great to remove any product build up in your hair and also leaves your hair feeling soft and manageable.

The Restorative Mask is a deep conditioner meant to be used every three days. It is also gentle enough to use as a shaving cream for your legs! I usually shampoo and condition my hair everyday but as I wasn't sent their daily conditioner, I skipped my daily conditioning, and used this mask every three days instead. The result was my hair was left feeling soft and bouncy, even on the days I only shampooed. This restorative mask makes it do you don't have to use conditioner every day, love it!

The Therapy Spray is a leave-in spray. I use it after shampooing and before blow drying my hair. It helps give more volume to my lifeless hair and also eliminates frizz. It's great to help de-tangle hair so that you can run your comb through it wet and not worry about breakage and split-ends.

The Beach Spray  gives your hair that tousled, wavy, just got back from hanging at the beach hair. Perfect for summer! You can spray it into wet hair and scrunch your hair up with your hands letting it dry naturally. This will give you more of a tousled wet look. When you spray it on dry hair and scrunch up it gives you more of a wavy look. I was unsure if this would work on my hair because my hair is thin and flat but it added some nice body while giving it that sexy, just got out of bed and I look great, look.

All Mastey products can be purchased online.

WEN by Chaz Dean Fragrance Collection Review

I am sure all of you are familiar with WEN hair products. You have probably seen founder Chaz Dean on Bravo's Flipping Out having his salon remodeled or have seen the WEN hair commercials offering products to help you get healthy salon styled hair at home. Some of you may have even tried WEN products, but did you know that WEN also offers luxurious body products? I had no idea until a couple of months ago when I was sent one of their Limited Edition Eau De Parfum from the WEN Fragrance Collection.

This lovely 3.4oz bottle of Spring Honey Lilac smells amazing. Light and airy, with a delicate floral scent and subtle sweetness. Typically I am not big on floral perfumes but this one is so ethereal, it reminds me of fairies frolicking in a garden and if you know me, you know I have a thing for fairies.

Currently their are four WEN fragrances available, Sweet Toasted Almond and Cucumber Basil Tea are both 1.7 oz. bottles. The other two are larger 3.4 oz. bottles of their Limited Edition summer scents; Summer Honey Peach and Summer Mango Coconut.

Both of these sound amazing but I need to get my hands on the Summer Honey Peach while I can. Peach just happens to be one of my favorite smells.  These scents are only going to be available for the summer. You can find them and other WEN Body products online.

New! Juicy Shaker by Lancome Paris

It's summertime, and Lancôme has a new product to kick off the season. Juicy Shaker is a new lip oil that combines a lip balm with lots of gloss to keep your lips nourished, leave them with a touch of color and a whole lot of shine. Juicy Shaker is called this because it takes a few little shakes to mix the pigments and oils together, you then use the lip cushion applicator for juicy colored lips. I am a gloss girl so I absolutely love this stuff. It comes in 20 different shades and is filled with essential oils like Apricot Oil to hydrate, Rose de Muscat Oil to plump and heal, antioxidant-rich Cranberry Oil to protect, Peach Oil to soften, and Almond Oil to nourish and condition. I received 2 Juicy Shaker samples to try out; Apri-Cute which is the sparkly orange color pictured above and Meli Melon a pretty pink.

I gave my mom Apri-Cute because orange is totally her color. She loved the subtle color and the glossiness of it. My Meli Melon is perfect for everyday wear and leaves my lips colorful, sparkly like I like them, and soft. Does the Juicy Shaker bottle remind you of anything? A cocktail shaker perhaps? As we all know the best drinks are shaken not stirred and apparently that goes for lip color as well. You can get your hands and lips on some Juice Shaker's online and now anyone care for a dirty martini?

Drink up!

I have a product to share with you to keep you and your skin hydrated this scorching summer. Aqua Carpatica is the world's only nitrate-free naturally sparkling mineral water. Loaded with natural calcium and magnesium minerals, it is not only suitable for athletes and people on the go but calcium and magnesium are also said to benefit your skin. Calcium helps the body generate new skin cells while shedding the old ones and magnesium has anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and allergy reducing properties. Also I don't even think I need to mention how important water is to your entire body, inside and out. Aqua Carpatica has a nearly neutral pH of 6.5 – the closest pH level to pure water compared to other sparkling waters on the market. It also contains 0 calories, 0 carbs and 0 sodium.
I know some people are not a fan of sparkling water, no worries, Aqua Carpatica also comes in still natural spring water.

Aqua Carpatica has recently launched in the US. You can find both varieties at your local Sprouts Farmers Market Store. Drink up!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Pore-Defense Primer Serum Review

Are you a fan of Hard Candy cosmetics? Then you've gotta check out their latest Sheer Envy Pore-Defense Primer Serum. This lightweight primer will help your makeup look flawless and last throughout the day.

I received this pretty blue bottle for review and have been putting it to use. When reading the description of the product it says it instantly tightens pores and absorbs excess oil. Fortunately I do not have visible pores so I can't say whether this product helps with that issue. I do however tend to have skin on the oily-er side and I found that this product while leaving your skin with a soft satin-y texture also adds some sheen to it. I think this stuff might be better suited for someone with drier skin. I sometimes find myself with dry patches around my eyes and this stuff helps to moisturize these spots so my eye makeup doesn't look cake-y and a hot mess.  You simply rub a small amount of primer serum onto your skin prior to applying your makeup. If your skin needs a little moisture and your makeup is often left looking caked on then I would suggest applying this to your entire face to help your makeup go on smoothly. If you are like me and have skin that is a little more oily then I would suggest only using this product on dry spots or on uneven spots of your face to help with a more even appearance.

You can find Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Pre-Defense Primer Serum exclusively at Walmart stores.
