Even Glow Serum Review

I was sent their Even Glow Serum for review. This product is formulated to help you achieve a smoother complexion and even out your skin tone. It contains 20% Vitamin C which is an antioxidant that helps to protect your skin from signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots.

GREEN TEA EXTRACT- The catechins in green tea are a potent antioxidant which also contribute to the overall anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant benefits of this ancient health and beauty secret.

A little of this product goes a long way. After washing my face I simply use the dropper to apply a couple of pea size amounts and then gently massage into my face and neck.  Initially I was afraid this would leave my skin feeling oily but it does not. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft. I have been using this twice a day for the last couple of weeks and my skin does feel smoother and softer. My skin also has a subtle glow after using it, not greasy, it just looks youthful and healthy.  I have a couple of dark spots on my face that I am hoping Even Glow Serum will help with so I am anxious to continue using this product.

Okocat Natural Cat Litter Review

They have several brands that cater to your pet needs, one of these brands is Okocat. Okocat offers cat litter that is made of natural plant fibers with no chemical additives. Okocat litter comes in 4 varieties; Natural Wood Clumping, Natural Wood Clumping for long hair breeds, Natural Wood Pine and Natural Paper Dust Free.

I was sent the Natural Wood Clumping litter for my 15 year old cat, Mr. Rat and I to review.

Our thoughts...

Mr. Rat says " Mreeeow, mreeeeeow meeeeep mrawww, meow". I will translate that for you...

Basically he used the litter box just like before. He did not have any issues with the sudden change of litter and he is pretty particular when it comes to his litter box and his food. He has been known to turn up his nose at both when he doesn't like them.  The litter is like tiny pieces of soft shaved wood. It actually absorbs quite well and clumps up and holds together making it easy to clean up. Okocat says that this particular litter has a 7 day odor control. That is pretty much accurate. I usually change out the entire little box once a week anyway so this works for me. Another thing that works for me, I have allergies and prior to using this litter they would start to act up every time I changed Mr. Rat's box. His previous clay litter would kick up a bunch of dust, Okocat does not. The one thing I did notice about this litter is that when dry it tends to cling to Mr. Rat's paws and in turn on the carpet. It does not leave a big mess and like I said these are pieces that have not been soiled so it is not that big of an issue. I simply vacuumed them up without a problem.

Swipe Review

Girls don't sweat they glisten! Yeah right...
I am going to be honest with you here, I think I sweat more then the average girl. I am not sure why but I do know that when the weather is warm or when I am being active I tend to sweat. It's annoying and it's not always possible to pull out some deodorant to freshen up. I don't know about you but I am not one that carries my deodorant around with me. That's where one of the newest products in personal hygiene comes in, Swipe.

Swipe are single use deodorant wipes that are individually packaged making them easy to pop into your purse or gym bag and small enough to make them inconspicuous should you feel the need to use them in public. They are infused with natural tea tree extract that provides protection from sweating and helps eliminate body odor.

I received a 3 pack sample for review. Out of their packaging they smell kind of soap-y and  little like alcohol. I was initially not very fond of the smell. I was pleased though that I did not smell like rubbing alcohol after using them. They have a fresher smell when you actually use them. I think these are a pretty neat idea. Especially for traveling or just when your out and about on a hot day, hanging out at the beach or working out. They are like wet naps for your body. Swipe deodorant wipes are made in the US and are completely biodegradable. They can be purchased in packs of 3, 10 or 25 online. They are currently working on getting product out to other retail locations.

For a girl that likes to feel clean and fresh all the time I would definitely keep these handy. And ladies toss some of them in your mans suitcase, gym bag or in their car. I don't know about you but I am not a fan of stinky boys. ;) What are your thoughts?

The Spa Sonic Skin Care System is 4 products in one. Unlike other some rotating brushes that require the purchase of a new device and attachment for a specific skin care need. Spa Sonic's Face and Body Polisher includes attachments for a deep clean and softer skin from head to toe.

The small facial brush is made with soft bristles for gentle skin. You can apply your regular face cleanser to the brush and move across your skin in a circular motion. It helps exfoliate rough skin cells and reduce calluses. This works great on your feet. Let them soak for a few minutes then dry off with a towel and use the pumice in a circular motion to soften those heels.

I really love the Spa Sonic Skin Care System. It is easy to use! The attachments are super easy to switch out and cleaning is a cinch. It is completely waterproof so you can use it in the bath and shower with no problem making it super convenient. Why visit a spa when you can turn your bathroom into one!

Spa Sonic is available at Costco, Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens. It would make the perfect gift for a Girly Girl. Husbands take note! Throw in a massage and a night out on the town and you will have one happy wife.
