ICU Eyewear Review

I have shared several anti-aging products with you in the past but one thing that you have probably never thought of when it comes to staying young is sunglasses. Wearing sunglasses should be an important part in your anti aging skin regime. For one, wearing sunglasses during those bright sunny days helps prevent you from squinting, squinting causes those pesky little lines around your eyes we know as crow's feet. Then there's those harmful UV rays, well not only can they be harmful to your skin but they can also damage the most sensitive part of your face, your eyes. We wear sunblock to protect our skin from the scorching sun it only makes sense that we should also be protecting our eyes.

ICU Eyewear has a nice selection of stylish sunglasses that will not only protect those peepers but will have you looking super cute. What's more they are totally affordable at only $21.95 a pair! At that price you can get a few pairs to add some oomph to your wardrobe. I was sent two different styles of sunglasses for review.

These adorable Retro Cat Eye sunglasses in yellow and tortoise shell. Cat eye frames happen to be one of my favorite styles because I think they look great with my face shape so I was in love with this as soon as I saw them. Even though these sunglasses are so inexpensive they do not look cheap and I have actually received several compliments when wearing them.

I also received these Large Retro Soft Cat Eye sunglasses in black. These are my everyday sunglasses. While they are a little plain they still look good. I make sure to keep these in my car so I am always protected and able to drive safely.

Aside from sunglasses ICU Eyewear also offers reading glasses, which I also happen to need. My fave of the bunch are these Two-Tone Fade reading glasses.

Mally Beauty Review

Mally Beauty is a line of cosmetics created by professional makeup artist and beauty expert Mally Roncal. Her love of all things glam drove her to create a beauty line that is not only used by a-list celebrities, and sold in high end stores like Henri Bendel and Fred Segal but is also available to women everywhere via QVC.com, mallybeauty.com and ULTA Beauty.

I was sent a High Shine Liquid Lipstick for review. These retail for $20 and come in over 30 shades. It is a 4-in-1 product that includes your lip primer, lipstick, lip gloss, and lip liner all in one! I was sent Nude Light for review. This lipstick is in a pen like container with a built in brush applicator. You turn the bottom knob a few times to get some of the lip color onto the applicator and then easily brush onto your lips. It really does leave a "high shine" on your lips. The particular shade I was scent is a nude with just a touch of pink. Your lips look natural with a little extra pop of gloss. I love how easy it is to apply and I love the color and feel on my lips. I love that I can wear it over any of my other lipsticks to add some extra shimmer. The only thing I am not too fond of is the smell and yes, the taste. No, I am not eating the stuff but it is kinda hard not to get a little taste of it in your mouth when it goes on your lips. It's a little chemical-y smelling and tasting. It's not overwhelming and definitely won't hinder me from using it again, but it is there.

I am actually pretty interested in trying some of the other Mally Beauty products because I can tell this is some high quality stuff. I    The directions on this product say that you can apply it to your face and neck either morning and night but preferably in the evenings for best results. I have been using it before bed since that's when I wash my face of the days makeup. Only a small amount is needed to apply a thin layer to your clean face and neck. My mom who is almost 60 looks much younger for her age, thanks mom! Juicy Couture Malibu Collection Perfume Review

 

Recently I was sent Juicy Couture's Malibu Collection for review. While I am not familiar with any other Juicy Couture perfumes it is one of my friends go to perfumes, and she always smells nice. I was eager to try these Malibu inspired fragrances. I was sent both the Juicy Couture Malibu  and the couture La La for review. First of all the bottles scream California coast. The colors are bright and fresh and remind me of summer beach days. They will display beautifully on your girly vanity table.

 

The orange bottle of Juicy Couture Malibu is described as "Whimsical pink passion fruit merges with fresh sparkling jasmine..."

 

This one is clean and citrus-y with a light and breezy floral scent. This scent also lingers pretty much all day. I love that! This is the perfume to put on when you want to brighten your day. It will make you feel like summertime no matter what the season.

 

The pink bottle of couture La La Malibu is described as "Sparkling mandarin notes are highlighted with sweet pink sugar..."

 

This one is my favorite of the two. It is more on the sugary side, like candy. It is playful and girly and makes me think of strolling on the boardwalk on a perfect sunny day with a bag of cotton candy. This one also happened to be my husbands favorite. The only problem with this one is the scent faded in a just a couple of hours.

 

I ended up sharing one of the bottles I received with my friend who loves all Juicy Couture fragrances. She was so excited! Want to put a smile on you BFF's face? These make the perfect gift!

This review is for your furry four legged friends, woof! Is your doggy a messy eater? My dog Timber has got to be the messiest eater ever.
