Keoni CBD Review

 

Recently I was introduced to Keoni. Keoni is an American company making a wide variety of CBD products. They believe their products should be effective, simple, sustainable and made with all that Mother Nature has to offer. Their affordable and high quality CBD infused oils, edibles and topicals are made to address challenges with sleep, anxiety and pain relief. 

I am a novice when it comes to CBD products. Prior to being introduced to Keoni I had sampled some CBD chocolates that were meant for a calming effect. I also tried a CBD cream for muscle soreness. I have even started giving it to my dog Timber, a large Shepherd that is starting to suffer from age related soreness in his limbs and hips. CBD has gained in popularity because it is known to be effective and many people prefer using it over traditional drugs and medications. 

I was sent a package filled with a nice sampling of Keoni products for for review. I will share my two favorite products with you. 

Keoni Sport Sleep Gummies are formulated with natural ingredients and 500 mg of pure CBD to help you get a good nights rest. Each gummy contains 25 mg.  I love that they are really easy to take, you just pop a gummy in your mouth and chew it up like a piece of candy. They are coated in sugar given them a yummy sweet taste. I tend to have a hard time falling asleep on nights that Chris is up in Alaska working. Previously I would use melatonin to help me sleep, but it always makes me have weird dreams and I am still in such a deep sleep in the morning that I have a hard time waking up. These sleep gummies did not do either of those things. You take one right before you lie down to fall asleep. and you will be asleep in no time. My sleep  has been restful and I awake feeling refreshed. These are really great! 

Keoni Sport Energy Gummies are also formulated with natural ingredients and 500 mg of pure CBD. Each gummy contains 25 mg. They give you an energy boost without the caffeine and what's great about these is that I am super sensitive to caffeine. If I have to much I get jittery and anxious and start to feel sick. These energy gummies did none of those things to me. They perked me up without making me feel shaky and nauseated. I take these in the morning and I feel more alert and awake throughout the day. 

I also received some Full Spectrum Hemp Gummies, Full Spectrum Hemp Oil and Keoni Sport Pain Relief Spray. All quality products that I would recommend to any one who currently uses CBD products or a novice like me. You can check these products out and more on their website.

Plantifique Product Review

 Recently I was sent a couple of products for review from Plantifique. Plantifique is a skincare company whose products are made using superfoods. These plan ingredients are filled with vitamins, minerals, proteins and amino acids for healthy and natural beauty. 

The first product I was sent is their Superfood Marine Clay Mask. This mask is formulated with a combination of 7 natural herbs and superfoods. It is made to detoxify the skin leaving it hydrated and moisturized and it has been dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. 

I am really enjoying this mask! I love that it comes with a little brush to apply the mask onto your face, It goes on easily and evenly. It is meant to be used 1 to 4 times a week. You simply use the brush to put a thin layer on your face, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off. I really like the consistency of this mask, it is not runny and therefore no need to worry about it making a mess. As it is drying you will feel it tighten on your skin but it is still very easy to wash off after. It also leaves your skin feeling clean and smooth. This is a great face mask that can be purchased on Amazon. 

The next product I received to try out was their Peach Foot Peeling Mask. This foot peel is amazing! Not only does it smell great but it really does exfoliate your skin removing all the dry stuff and leaving the soles of your feet soft to the touch. To use you first soak your feet in warm water for about 15 minutes and then dry. Each box contains 2 packages that come with a set of booties containing fruit acids, lactic acid, papaya, Aloe Vera and peach kernel extract. You simply put them on your feet and use the provided stickies to make sure and secure the booties around your ankle, keeping them mess free. You leave the booties on for about an hour and then remove and wash your feet with soap and water. At first it may appear as if nothing is happening but after a few days you will start to see your skin peeling off. I would recommend soaking your feet daily to get all the dry skin off. Your feet will literally be peeling for days. Check out some of the photos from users on Amazon. Once the peeling process has completed you are left with baby soft feet! Make sure to keep your feet moisturizes to keep them looking great!

Heirloom Pet Products Review

 

I love learning about new products for my furry pups. Recently I was introduced to Heirloom Pet Products. Heirloom Pet Products make all natural dog products made with water-soluble Broad Spectrum Hemp. CBD and hemp for pets has become a common way to treat pet ailments. As a matter of fact my dogs vet suggested CBD products for both of my dogs.

Timber my aging Shepherd in the back suffers from hip and joint pain and stiffness and I was told CBD products would help with that. Relic my husky in the foreground suffers from seizures. When I received this book I thought it was the perfect book for my artistic daughter whose specialty is watercolors. After perusing the book she was inspired to create this watercolor of avocado toast. 

Taking some tips from the pages of Watercolor Snacks and her own imagination she came up with this art piece. She thinks this book is great and for a beginner and even someone with a little more experience in watercolors. I've asked her to cook me up some more watercolor treats and I can't wait to see them.

The nice thing is you are told before ordering what the theme is so you can choose to skip it if it doesn't sound like something you would like. The theme crate I received was Garden Party and including the following items:

This large insulated lunch cooler bag features Hello Kitty, Tuxedosam and Cinnamoroll in a gardening scene. I really like the size of this bag as I could fit an entire picnic lunch in it. 

This adorable half apron is my favorite item from the box, because I have a thing for cute aprons. 

Look at this t-shirt! Perfect spring/summer scene and color. Penelope snatched this one away from me. 

This water bottle, although sweet, is cheap plastic. I don't think I will be drinking from it, instead I will probably use it to store some school supplies in it. 

Finally this Chococat plush in his crown of spring flowers. He is purr-fect! 

I was really pleased with the items I received. The Hello Kitty and Friends crate costs $39.99 plus shipping, it's a pretty good value if you are a fan of Sanrio stuff.

Doggijuana Review and Giveaway

 

If you are a cat owner than you probably know that felines go crazy for catnip. Did you know that dogs also love the stuff? This is actually turned out to be a good thing because Relic, our 4 year old Husky loves toys. He is more of a free spirit, playful and doesn't mind looking a fool.

Vena CBD Chocolate Review

 

Okay, so I admit I am not very familiar with CBD products. Don't get me wrong it's not that I haven't heard about them, CBD products are everywhere. People use them to treat things like anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia and for overall health and wellness in the body. CBD is also safe for pets and is used to calm hyperactive dogs. In fact one of our dogs suffers from seizures and his vet suggested we try CBD as it is known to be effective in treating seizure disorders. Our other dog, a German Shepherd, is starting to have stiff joints and pain from old age and CBD was also suggested to relieve his discomfort. So you see CBD is being widely used and many people are touting their effectiveness. That's why when I was approached with the opportunity to try Vena's premium, gourmet CBD chocolates I thought, now is my chance to see what all the fuss about.

I was sent a package of the new CBD Chocolates for review. These come in 3 different flavors; Dark Chocolate and Peppermint, Decadent Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Toffee Crumble. I received the latter of the three. Each package contains 10 individually wrapped chocolates containing 25mg of CBD each. They are super tasty! I have been eating one a night right before bed time and I do notice a sense of calming. Even though CBD comes from the Cannabis plant it does not contain THC and therefore does not have the same effects as edibles that contain THC. Rather CBD products are meant to be taken as part of a health and wellness lifestyle.

My daughter also enjoyed both varieties and snuck off with a couple of bags for later.

The pitcher has an ice chamber which is what really drew me to it. It is so unique and a the aquamarine color suits my kitchen perfectly. This pitcher will be great for keeping everything from sangria, margaritas, or lemonade cool, but not watered down. I love that Novica always includes a special thank you note with purchase. My postcard included a handwritten thank you in Spanish for supporting Mexico's artisans.  They also have this pitcher in this gorgeous lemon green color that would make a wonderful gift this holiday.

Lyda Beauty Cleopatra Cat Eye Stamp Review and Giveaway

There are two makeup products that are a must for me to have in my kit, mascara and eyeliner. I could probably live without my mascara...probably, but I for sure can't live without my black eyeliner. My go to look is a cat eye, sometimes it is thin and on point and sometimes I go with a thicker winged eyeliner. It really depends on how much I screw up that day. You see, I have a hard time getting my eyeliner to be perfectly symmetrical because I can't see very well out of my left eye, whatever... I make it work. Recently I was introduced to Lyda Beauty's Cleopatra Cat Eye Stamp. 

This eyeliner is pretty special. One end is a fine point pen like liner that goes on smooth, and with just one swipe. The other end has a pointed stamp to give you that perfect winged cat eye. You apply the stamp on the outer corner of your eyelid and than use the eyeliner to draw a line across your lid to connect it. You can make it as thin or thick as you like. You can also try a double winged look like this!

Here is my first attempt using the cat eye stamp. 

I think it may take me a couple of times to perfect my look, but  am looking forward to it. I really do love this liner...you will too!

Eco Lips Review

 

I don't know about you but I have noticed my lips have been really dry lately. I think it may be due to all the mask wearing. While I know we are not wearing lipstick because, well, no one can see our lips these days. We can still keep them soft, moisturized and feeling great! Eco Lips has a new line of Mongo Kiss made from organic Mongogo oil and fair trade certified cocoa butter  perfect for providing your lips with the essential nutrients they need. Ok, so I had to look up Mongogo oil because I had never heard of it. Apparently it's this oil derived from the Manketti tree from in Sub-Sahara Africa. It is filled with vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids that are good for moisturizing the skin. But enough of that, all I know is I love these lip balms.
