I love natural stones; I have little boxes full of stones. I even inherited some amazing stones from my mom when she passed away (believe me they're pretty special to me and she knew that!). So when I found Mama Rocks Designs on Etsy I knew I had found a kindred spirit.

Mama Rocks Designs specializes in healing necklaces, mommy necklaces (also known as nursing necklaces) and belly casts! She uses natural stones and glass beads to create beautiful, colorful necklaces that are both stylish and functional!

I absolutely adore this triple circle necklace:

Rachael sent me an amethyst loop necklace to try out with Zoë. I love amethyst. It is my birthstone and purple has always been my favorite color! I have gotten so many compliments on it. The loop is made up of lots of little amethyst nuggets that are texturely pleasing to my baby to keep her busy and entertained. It also looks absolutely fabulous with a pretty shirt, even if the baby is with the babysitter! I have to admit I find myself twiddling with it and playing with the amethyst nuggets as well.
