I absolutely love to bake. But I'm not very artistic when it comes to baking. I don't like complicated, overly messy, complicated desserts. Sure, they turn out looking like edible pieces of art but I just can't find the confidence to create the masterpieces.

That is where Wilton steps in. They give you the tools you need to create delicious and beautiful creations at affordable prices in everyday stores like Walmart! I find Wilton products there, and at other stores, which is so convenient for those of us who do not like to make every little purchase online. And you do not have to be a pastry chef to use their products at all. You can be an absolutely novice like myself.

Wilton sent me their Dimensions Giant Cupcake Pan to try out. I was so nervous! I wanted to use it for Abigail's 3rd birthday so we had to test it out long before the party. The first time we used the pan it was a disaster. I'll admit it! I feel the directions could be more user friendly. I didn't know what temp or for how long to bake a cake using boxed cake mix nor did I know how much to put in the wells of the pan. Our cake ended up in a pile on the counter because it was stuck in the pan and overcooked.

Take 2! The second time was much better because I looked at their website for directions. They do have much better directions for using the Dimensions Giant Cupcake Pan with helpful tips right on their site. We used a cooking spray that has flour (Baker's Joy). This made all the difference! The website also let me know that one well is going to have more cake mix in it than the other for more even cooking. Once cooled our cakes slid right out of the pan having used the Baker's Joy cooking spray.

Take 3! Here is my daughter's birthday cake! For someone who doesn't want to take the time to frost and pipe icing and make an extravagant cake this turned out so incredibly cute and every single person gushed about how awesome the cakes were (we ended up making two!):
