I got a fun set of soaps from The Joy of Soap and I'm excited to tell you about them. The Joy of Soap sent me the Feeling Frisky, the Manly Man and Elizabeth's Wild Hair Shaving Soap. One of the best parts about receiving this soap was the packaging and here's a photo that I took to show what I mean:

The first soap I tried was the Elizabeth's Wild Hair Shaving Soap. There were grains in the soap that helped exfoliate my skin which is very beneficial to shaving and getting a really close shave. My legs were smooth. The soap smelled herbal and fresh. I liked that my skin felt incredibly soft after I was done shaving.

Next I tried the Feeling Frisky soap during a shower and for someone who isn't partial to bar soaps I found myself enjoying this soap. It had a citrus smell to it and it made me feel calm and happy, as strange as that sounds. Certain herbs can have emotional affects on you and I truly felt like this one made me feel peaceful and serene. Again my skin felt clean and soft after showering.

My husband naturally tried the Manly Man soap. First of all I thought it smelled sexy and manly. And this is what he had to say about it, "I prefer shower gel to bar soap but I really liked this soap. I felt really clean afterward. The smell didn't last very long.* It didn't dry my skin out."
*I could smell the soap on him long after he couldn't smell it so I believe he just got used to the scent.
